Abbiamo provato il menù degustazione : portate molto abbondandti e prezzo onesto per la qualità dei prodotti. A	Alessio Calabró on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Semplicemente perfetto. Locale bellissimo, muri in pietra ed al centro un gigantesco torchio da cui appunto il ristorante prende il nome. Tutto pulito e curatissimo, personale gentilissimo educato e disponibile. Tengono moltissimo alla qualità del cibo e del servizio, di fatti chiedono più volte se é tutto a posto con la cena. Passiamo al cibo.. 3 antipasti, uovo in crosta, battuta di gassosa con bagnacauda e tortino di zucca con speck e fonduta.. tutti e 3 indimenticabili. Ma il vero piatto forte é stato lo chateaubriand, definirlo perfetto é riduttivo..accompagnato da purè di patate e salsa simile alla tartara. Il tutto in 2 persone, con una bottiglia di vino,totale 100euro. Torneremo sicuramente, e pure spesso.. arriviamo da Varese, e un ora di strada vale decisamente la pena farla per mangiare qui. Andateci,non ve me pentirete. Simply perfect. Beautiful place, stone walls and a giant press in the center from which the restaurant takes its name. All clean and well-kept, very kind staff, polite and helpful. They care a lot about the quality of the food and the service, in fact they ask several times if everything is ok with dinner. Let's move on to food .. 3 appetizers, egg crust, soda with bagnacauda and pumpkin pie with speck and fondue .. all 3 unforgettable. But the real highlight was the chateaubriand, defining it perfect is an understatement .. accompanied by mashed potatoes and a sauce similar to tartar. All in 2 people, with a bottle of wine, total 100 euros. We will definitely come back, and even often .. we come from Varese, and an hour's drive is definitely worth it to eat here. Go there, you will not regret me.

Ottimo tagliere di salumi e formaggi e buonissima battuta di fassona con bagna cauda. Fantastici gnocchi con crema di cavolfiore viola e nocciole del Piemonte tritate...meraviglioso filetto di bue alla brace. Ottimo tiramisù e semifreddo al torroncino. Il tutto condito da un Bramaterra 2013 da favola. Estremamente consigliato Tested on 02/13/2022. Exceptional location in the heart of the medieval village of Candelo. Staff very young, friendly and very prepared. Excellent platter of cold cuts and cheeses and delicious Fassona tartare with bagna cauda. Fantastic gnocchi with purple cauliflower cream and chopped Piedmont hazelnuts ... wonderful grilled beef fillet. Excellent tiramisu and nougat parfait. All seasoned with a fabulous 2013 Bramaterra. Extremely recommended
