★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Intimate and innovative Tempio provides modern takes on classic Umbrian cuisine. The staff is young, enthusiastic, and friendly making you feel right at home. The owners Eros and Manuela clearly put a great deal of love and pride into this place and it shows.
I reccomend the Umbrian menu, especially for fans of truffles. Even out of peak season it's fantastic.
The food and experience you get for the price is unbelievable. With a bottle of wine a full dinner for two is less than €80. Expensive, but well under what you would get for the same experience in so many other places.
I had the good fortune of eating here as a young man back in 2006. It made such an impression on me I made a point to return for my honeymoon in 2019. We made reservations for three nights and stuck an extra night in there because we had so much fun.
If you visit Spoleto you must have a meal here! You will remember it for the rest of your life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Spoleto on Sep 24th and had lunch at Tempio del Gusto. I chose the menu of the day that included the tartuffo milojas and a tartufo pasta, all very good. The chef very kindly made us get small portions of other typical dishes to try at no cost. Highly recommended, I suggest sharing portions because they are so abundant. The staff very efficient and kind.
