★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was not good to start with. The waiter gave us the menus and after about five minutes he told us that they had no pizzas. I orderd a rare steak, but it was barely cooked just really bloody and tasted like raw meat, so i couldn't finish it. My partner didn't even get what he orderd, god shellfish insteed of octopus. To top it all of it was the most expensive meal we have orderd in Italy the last ten days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most excellent restaurant! We had capers salad, very fresh. Also enjoyed the fried octopus which was extremely tender. The most delicious was the sea bass filleted tableside with precision! Been in Italy 10 days and by far the best restaurant on this trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So we decided on this place because it felt a little like a down home Italian meal. Nothing too fancy just good food. Service was ok and honestly if I factored on food into my rating it would have gotten like 4.5 stars. We had steamed black pepper mussels, calamari, rice balls, margarita pizza, and Steak.. Everything was worth the wait but honestly I didn’t enjoy it in the way that I wanted. We had to ask for olive oil with the bread but if your server was going by your table ever so often you really don’t get a chance to ask as well as request wine with you food. In a way I felt looked down on vs the other tables in that old school Italian way, like hurry up and eat and get out. After all we are a mixed American family with two kids 12 yrs and 9 yrs old boys, so who knows what they were thinking... Either we did get a true slice of true Italian Culture...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ absolutely amazing. I showed up right when they opened and they actually invited me back to the kitchen to see them make my pizza!! Most people pay $50+ to have that kind of experience, and they gave it to me out of the kindness of their hearts—not to mention the pizza was phenomenal and you could really taste the love in it. I talked to a few of them and most of the guys aren’t in their late fifties and have been working here for 20+ years. I’ll never forget my experience here, truly a diamond in the rough!! also, I really like that they are transparent on their menu about which items have frozen products (ex. some seafood or french fries). I look for the most authentic item in a restaurant so it was great to know what’s up— most places try to hide that kind of stuff. 10/10 recommend, good prices too.
