T	Thomas Romain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 45min wait (at 7.30pm) … but my god was it worth it. There’s pasta and there’s the « cantinaccia » pasta… a whole new experience!! The staff are beyond lovely and the owner will distribute cheese and wine in the queue. A nice plus ? Reasonably priced and away from the tourist trap, this might be the hidden gem of Sorrento when it comes to pasta ?!

The staff is incredible, they make sure to go the extra mile to make sure you had fun. Don’t forget to keep place for home made deserts.. our fav being ricotta cheese cake with pears.. We visited the place 2 times in 3 days. Totally recommend it!

The atmosphere was great and staff was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. If I stayed longer in Sorrento I would have definetly gone back to try other dishes. They do take card payments, I think some reviews here said they only take cash. Would totally recommend!
J	Joe Pires on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Italian food, possibly the best Sorrento has to offer and given its proximity to Mount Vesuvius all dishes deliver an "erruption" of flavours. On my visit I was blown away by the daily special squid spaghetti served straight from the pan. Staff super welcoming and helpful so please be generous and leave a tip because there's no cover charge. Wonderful family run restaurant with a great ambiance. I'd happily travel to Sorrento just to dine at La Cantinaccia!
N	NALBA TRAVELS on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best restaurant in Sorrento!!! No tourist prices, excellent food and lovely service. Seriously, if you are visiting Sorrento come eat here. The food is delicious and by far the best quality we found in the whole town. The people who work there are super welcoming and speak good English. And the food is just too good!! We eat here twice and would return if I was back.

Arrive early to assure you are seated right away, but know that if you do have to wait for a table, the owner offered wine and small bites!!! Despite the line stretching down the street, we never felt rushed. We recieved free limoncello too!! 5/5 would go again!!!

The hotel had recommended it and it had amazing reviews on Google which said to go early because it fills up very quickly. I went right before 7pm, sat down, and 10 minutes later it was full and there was a queue outside. I thought, this is a great sign. Unfortunately, it wasn't. They only have house wine if you want a glass instead of a bottle, and it's not very good. They have very limited options if you're a vegetarian. I got pasta with aubergine, tomato sauce, mozzarella. It was very salty and very heavy. I was unable to finish it. I didn't finish the wine either. The staff were brilliant but the food was poor. The prices are very good and the portion is big but there is no point if it is not tasty.

Great service, delicious traditional food, good location, this place has everything. Before you go, take into account this place doesn't take reservations and if you don't go early, probably it will be crowded. By the way, they'll offer you some limoncello at the end of your meal (for free), give it a try!
