Such a warm welcome from the owner! We came here for lunch and dinner twice in three days. Food was authentic &amazing (antipasti, scialatielli, mozzarella and any type of seafood). Nice Italian music in the background and kind people around. What else would you want when you try to enjoy your holiday? A must go in Sorrento. Like the name says, will come back ;

We are on a two week tour of Italy, and before I begin, believe me when I say that (1) I hardly ever write a review, (2) we put as much effort into choosing restaurants as we did planning the whole trip, and (3) we usually try and eat at different places every day, and we broke that rule for this spot. Our criteria was budget-friendly, knowing that the best food in Italy is often the simplest and most traditional, and somewhere not right in the center of a busy touristy spot- I.e. somewhere that felt it was a little off the beaten track, without someone outside trying to usher you in. We found this spot, which is less than a 10 minute walk from the main square in Sorrento, and was rated well. From the second we walked in, Nicola welcomed us with what I have to say was the most enthusiastic welcome to a restaurant I have ever experienced. Nicola, who I think is the owner, was beaming from ear to ear, and was full of energy and laughter. The food was awesome, we tried traditional dishes like Gnocchi Sorrentina, and a few others on the menu. The chef, Nicola’s wife (sadly we didn’t get her name) makes everything from scratch, and it was all really really good food. To top it off, the desserts we had- tiramisu & delicΓ© (a local type of lemon cake)- were fantastic too. And of course we washed it all down with the house white wine. We can’t recommend this place highly enough- it’s incredibly reasonable, feels way more authentic than anything around the town square, and the couple running the place are two of the happiest people we’ve ever come across. 12/10 would recommend!

Amazing place! The owner is so friendly and energetic, it’s a pleasure to see someone with that much passion. The food is reaaaally good, we started with an assortment of fried croquettes from Naples, they were delicious! I had lasagna and my girlfriend had gnocchi a la sorrentina, and again both dishes were perfect home made pasta. Be mindful about reserving through WhatsApp before going as the place gets full quite easily (It’s not hard to understand why once you’ve been there). Prices are really affordable so go there and try everything you can! Thanks for one of the best meals I had in Sorrento!

Fantastic, fun host. Shared a laugh with them, and the food was great. I had the surriento seafood pasta, and my partner the ravioli, both were great. They facilitated us having dinner quite late, and kept the shop open for us for a bit. Limoncello could've been colder, but the wine was a great value.

Last day in Sorrento we went to this restaurant. This was the most awful pasta that I ate. I don't understand why the review is so high. The seafood was not fresh. After a remark to the staff, they reduced my bill by 5 euros. I had ordered half a liter of wine, they brought me one liter. It's a shame to use bad seafood, when the sea is in yours back yard. Not a good experience. Edited: It's not about money. I pay the bill as soon as it was brought to me. The pasta that you serve me was with spoiled seafood. Of course I didn't eat it, because my health is on first place. Also for two pastas we waiting more than 40 min?

This was the best dinner experience we had during our stay in Sorrento. The owner and chef were very kind, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was spirited. We felt very welcomed and at home. They even helped me surprise my best friend for her birthday by bringing out a homemade dessert topped with a candle and having the entire restaurant sing to her! Loved loved loved it!!!

A fine local establishment! The man running the show was a high energy, clap you on the back, type of fella and really knew how to provide a warm welcome. His lovely wife, whom I am told is the cook, is a culinary artisan well deserving of praise. I partook in the gnocchi (as I am wont to do), fried seafood plate, house wines, and limoncello. 10/10 would do again!

Lovely place, super close to Sorrento's center. The food is traditional in the best way possible, you get a sense of being at home, and the owner is a great, humble, funny, cheer-you-up kind of guy. Simply amazing, from start to finish. We went there with my wife twice and every second spent there was joyous. If we can, we'll come back for a third time.
