★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst place in Siracusa. Poor service which cost 5 euro (2 hours were waiting for 2 dishes). Poor qulity of food which cost 15-20 euro for second course. Also they included complimentary olives into bill. I refused to pay for this, they started to argue with me. I belive that thier main customers are - tourists who will never come back. My recommendation not to waist time and money, choose another place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife & I visit Ortigia, Syracuse every year. The first restaurant we always go to is Ristorante Giove. This is a family restaurant and the food served by chef and proprietor Giovanni is invariably excellent. Without any doubt at all Ristorante Giove is very high on our list of favourites in Ortigia. Very reasonably priced and top class food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first meal in Ortigia and it was fantastic. The owners were so friendly and the food was fantastic. The peppers were exactly as my father in law made them. The pasta arrabiata was so depth in flavor. The piece of beef we ate could be but with a butter knife. Superb food. We will be back. And the wine was also excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and great service ! This has always been our “go to” place when we visit syracuse. Giovanni and his wife are always welcoming with a smile on their face. Giovanni never failed us in his homemade, genuine and fresh food preparation. Highly recommended !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there twice during our 3-day stay in Siracusa: the food is just incredibly amazing and fresh. It offers numerous local specialties, as well as the Chef’s own specialities - highly recommended. The Chef served us in person with gentle smiles and checking up on us at every course; and the staff is also very welcoming. Ristorante Giove is very comfy and nice, indoor as well as indoor. We will come back on our next trip to Siracusa.
