★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In vacanza a Trapani, mia moglie ed io, siamo stati consigliati da persone del luogo di cenare al Ristorane G&G. La prima volta vi abbiamo cenato la sera di Ferragosto, dopodichè ci siamo tornati una decina di volte. La location, sul lungomare, tutta in bianco è molto accattivante ed elegantissima, insuperabile nei suoi tramonti mozzafiato. Siamo stati accolti dalla proprietaria con grande attenzione e professionalità, il menù offre una vasta gamma di piatti tipici di pesce rigorosamente fresco, oltrechè proposte giornaliere in base al pescato del giorno. I piatti sapientemente cucinati dallo chef Vito sono abbondanti e proposti con eleganza, pur nella semplicità. La carta dei vini è ampia e con ottime etichette siciliane. Volete qualche esempio? Provate l'antipasto misto pesce, la zuppetta di aragosta, il cuscus alla trapanese, le fritture, i pesci alla trapanese, le linguine all'aragosta, busiate al gambero rosso di Marettimo. Rapporto qualità, quantità, prezzo: ottimo. Provare per credere!!
 On holiday in Trapani, my wife and I were recommended by locals to dine at the G&G Ristorane. The first time we dined there on the evening of Ferragosto, after which we went back a dozen times. The location, on the seafront, all in white is very captivating and elegant, unsurpassed in its breathtaking sunsets. We were welcomed by the owner with great attention and professionalism, the menu offers a wide range of typical dishes of strictly fresh fish, as well as daily proposals based on the catch of the day. The dishes expertly cooked by chef Vito are abundant and proposed with elegance, even in simplicity. The wine list is extensive and with excellent Sicilian labels. Do you want some examples? Try the mixed fish appetizer, lobster soup, couscous alla trapanese, fried fish, trapanese fish, linguine with lobster, busiate with red shrimp from Marettimo. Quality, quantity, price ratio: excellent. Seeing is believing!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were recommended trattoria Ai Solito Posto but because it was no table available we ended up here. And lucky we were;)we had the mussels, pasta trapanese and risotto di mare. And it was all the best food we had in the 7days we stayed in Sicily. The service was very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a grilled squid that was served not cleaned inside!! I returned it but it still appeared on the bill. Not only it was not cleaned properly but was also bitter as it was burnt...that will cost you 15 Euro....AVOID.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was very good/friendly but the food wasn’t that great. I had the pesto verde and it was bland. My mom’s carbonara seemed to be to her liking and my dad’s pasta (sorry cant remember what he had) was okay. Maybe it was just an off night for the chef.
