Unlike most positive reviews we were disappointed in this restaurant, as the prices were too high plus the meals did not taste well. So, we don't recommend this restaurant if you are on a budget and looking for delicious authentic food.

Unfortunately, however friendly the owner is, the food was not exciting. We got the feeling this was a family run restaurant with very fixed traditional ideas and not able to change with the times. The pasta dishes were good, but the tuna with pistachio crust was so overcooked almost inedible. Having had similar in other restaurants where the tuna was thick and cooked 'blue' inside, the fish here was thin, dry and ruined. I think they need some new innovative blood in the kitchen.

We had great dinner here. Good food, nice serving. Awesome personnel - cool older guy with good English (not so common in Trapani). Very pleasant experience.

My wife and I shared the mussels in garlic and parsley, very good; the linguini in olive oil, breadcrumbs, anchovi, cheese and pepperoni I ( wonderful) and the sword fish with tomato sauce (excellent). The service was also good.

Delicious Trapani Food – Can’t Miss! I walked past this restaurant a few times, but Trip Advisor reviews brought me to the doorstep for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious – simple, fresh - I wish I’d eaten here sooner as I was tired of busy and touristy restaurants. An English menu is available and I chose a recommendation from host/owner: homemade busiate (pasta) with tomato, garlic and eggplant. (If you don’t like eggplant, this is the place to try it – it was an eggplant ‘puff’ that melts in your mouth.) House white wine, fresh bread with olive oil for dipping, and a pistachio-ricotta dessert made for a very happy evening! The casual atmosphere is great for families, solo travelers, or folks who want the feel of a local environment. Although kind of hidden yet centrally located, I agree with fellow reviewers that this spot is worth your time. Excellent service, food, and value

One of the best meals we had in Italy. Authentic home made pasta. Swordfish out of the world. Host is present and genuine in his interest in food and service. Gotta try

Nice family owned restaurant. The crew is so kind and the cous cous + "cassata siciliana" were amazing
