★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food, but we waited one and a half hour for dinner.
We had lunch while there was practically no other guests, and tried the Parma meats and cheese. This was all perfect.
We came back for dinner because the food was so good.
This time we waited an hour for our food before we started complaining, and it took them another 30 minutes to serve our pasta ready.
It still tasted amazing, but it was not worth the wait

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I though I've had good prosciutto in nyc, and then I came here. Prosciutto, Parmigiano and torta fritta, best combination ever. I also had Lambrusco for the first, this was the perfect place for me to enjoy it. The service was exceptional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kind staff, great prosciutto, the anellini were a bit heavy and not very flavorful. The giardiniera is amazing. Very good house wine. Gnocco is a bit too thick. Overall a nice dinning experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came with a group which is great but definitely book in peak times. Food was fantastic, clearly a super busy place as service was a little rushed and sometimes forgetfull but the food really compensates that. Had a good time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My weekend plan was to try the best dishes in parma. So i travelled all the way from milan to parma and exactly by the lunch time I was here @gallo d'oro. I ordered the typical parma dishes "torta fritta", "prosciutto di parma", "tortelli di erbetta" and guess what?? They are so so good and the people are very polite too.. She helped me in ordering the best dishes along with a classic beer. I hope I'll visit again parma and this restaurant too one day or another.

Staff was friendly and welcoming, they squeezed us to a table without reservation, ambiance is pleasant and the menu is parmigiano. Would recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in Parma for lunch on our way from Milan to Tuscany. Found this nice restaurant with outdoor sitting and ordered the prosciutto di parma, a plate of parmigiano cheese with honey and balsamic (seemed like a weird mix to us but it was amazing), pappardelle al ragu and gnocchi pomodoro (only disappointing meal as it lacked tomato sauce it was pretty much plain gnocchi).
The waitress suggested us to try the torta fritta and we were very happy we did. We definitely recommend it if you’ve never had it!
