★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the food was terrible, we definitely chose a wrong place... burger was without any souse, dry and with low quality meat, with raw mozzarella chease on top? it looked like some kind of joke, ready made bun from supermarket...... the pasta was also terrible!!!! we didn't feel like we are in ITALY! Very badly spent money.... ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS on tables!!!!! we are very disappointed about out visit in this place...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb takeaway fritto misto and very well priced however def do not recommend eating in (pricey, we had a very unfriendly waiter and food was just plain bad) . The food dining in was unpalatable especially the mussles and shells. Very unfriendly tall waiter who liked like stromae. Didnt not even respond to thank you or goodbye.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite ok lunch bought in the window and sat down eating at the small tables on the outside. Took a little while to get it, but tasty once it arrived. One person took a grilled sandwich and that was not a hit, hardly grilled and took longest to get by some reason.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say?! We were very excited to try the menu here so we had a nice table on the terrace, however this is were our experience stopped. After waiting patiently for about 20 minutes still nobody had taken even just our order for drinks. They did ask if we wanted water which we did. Then we saw that manager actually completely ignored us to prepare a table for his friends who were waiting outside the terrace. They immediately got a bottle of water AND a bottle of wine. Meanwhile we were still waiting for our water and someone to take our order. The people next to us were waiting all this time for a maincourse and when it did finally arrive they couldnt even eat because they didnt have cuttlery. So we decided to leave after waiting for 30 minutes. When a restaurant is busy it is ok to wait a bit but at least it is neccesary to acknoledge your guests and let them know that you are aware that they are waiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Places like this restaurant have the ability to upgrade a holiday-location so much, it adds quality-time to your holiday and you want to spend more days there next time you're in Santa Maria!
Besides the gourmet-restaurant, there is a street food take-away, which in terms of quality and friendliness is on the same level as the gourment-restaurant, because the entire staff does everything to comfort the guests.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Giuseppe and his brother Simone for the "Triglia-Box" :-) and look forward to seeing you again very soon!
From the overall rating (service, price, performance, portions, etc.) certainly one of the best restaurants I've ever been ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mixed feelings: five stars food two stars service. Delicate pasta with nice sea food flavours. Compliments to the chef. Wannabe service: young but inexperienced. For the price (and waiter outfit) I expect better customer attention: we had to exchange glasses (they were cloudy, as the toilet) and got two different ones... Fake flowers on the table? They never topped up our glasses and there was plenty of time. Last problem: the chef de salle was not interested in our experience. Just not enough attention to the details :(
