★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto incantevole, pranzo su vista mare. Ottimo il menù (tutto). Personale gentile e molto cortese, i proprietari super educati e molto simpatici. Abbiamo pranzato fuori con il sole che ti baciava la faccia e le onde del mare che sbatteva o sugli scogli. Ci ritorneremo. Locale TOP!
 Lovely place, lunch overlooking the sea. Excellent menu (everything). Friendly and very courteous staff, super-polite and very nice owners. We had lunch outside with the sun kissing your face and the waves of the sea beating or on the rocks. We will be back. TOP local!

Ringrazio Felice, il proprietario per avermi dato modo di assaporare nuovi piaceri, che mi ero negato per tanto tempo. Un riconoscimento alla sua sapiente cucina tradizionale, Napoletana Verace.
My wife had chosen this place 4 days before but I was unable to go. An immense pleasure in eating dishes never eaten, in the sense that I never wanted to taste. I thank Felice, the owner, for giving me the opportunity to savor new pleasures, which I had denied myself for a long time. A recognition of his wise traditional Neapolitan cuisine.

Delicious fish first courses, spaghetti with clams among the best ever eaten. Fantastic location overlooking the sea and very kind waiters. Excellent service. During our one week stay we will definitely be back!

Particolarmente apprezzato l'entrée con frittelle di alici e bruschette. Ottima qualità del pesce in tutte le sue preparazioni (antipasti e primi soprattutto). Unico appunto: la frittura, l'avrei preferita più croccante e con più pastella.
Personale molto gentile e accogliente.
Ideal for a lunch with a sea view.
Particularly appreciated is the entrée with anchovy pancakes and bruschetta. Excellent quality of the fish in all its preparations (starters and first courses above all). Only note: the frying, I would have preferred more crunchy and with more batter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho cenato con il mio ragazzo all'esterno di questo locale di venerdì sera sotto una splendida struttura che incornicia il tramonto sul mare di Santa Maria. Tavoli e sedie in plastica ma comode e molto carine. Entrè con frittelle alle alici e bruschetta con pomodorini, l'antipasto "La Scogliera" per una persona è bastato a far assaggiare tutto ad entrambi, esso comprende fettina di salmone affumicato, parmigiana di alici, baccalà in pastella Insalata di mare e una deliziosa zuppetta con fagioli e polpo. Consigliatissimo! Il primo è arrivato dopo forse un po troppo tempo ma i sapori e la qualità dei prodotti ci hanno soddisfatti. Linguine con astice a prezzo super competitivo e spaghetti alla Leucosia ottimi e dal sapore delicato.
Le porzioni sono abbondanti e il rapporto qualità prezzo è onesto.
Il personale è gentile e preparato. Non potevamo chiedere di meglio. Ritorneremo sicuramente.
I had dinner with my boyfriend outside this venue on a Friday night under a beautiful structure that frames the sunset over the sea of Santa Maria. Plastic tables and chairs but comfortable and very nice. Entrè with anchovy pancakes and bruschetta with cherry tomatoes, the "La Scogliera" appetizer for one person was enough to make both of them taste everything, it includes a slice of smoked salmon, anchovy parmigiana, cod in batter Seafood salad and a delicious soup with beans and octopus. Highly recommended! The first arrived after perhaps a little too long but the flavors and the quality of the products satisfied us. Linguine with lobster at a super competitive price and excellent Leucosia spaghetti with a delicate flavor.
The portions are generous and the value for money is fair.
The staff is polite and knowledgeable. We couldn't have asked for better. We will definitely be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto senza pretese, cucina onesta e familiare (quella che solo una mamma sa preparare). Eccezionali le frittelle di alici offerte come entrée, buoni gli antipasti, ottima la grigliata, frittura mista un po' molle ma gustosa. Abbiamo cenato sotto un gazebo posto sull'ampio marciapiede antistante il locale, vista mare. Peccato per la poca tranquillità che non ci ha permesso di goderci appieno la serata: ai tavoli erano presenti diversi bambini che urlavano o giocavano con cellulari forniti dai genitori per tenerli buoni, con canzoni ripetitive ad alto volume, cartoni animati, e fastidiose vocine schiamazzanti.
Unpretentious place, honest and familiar cuisine (the one that only a mother can prepare). Exceptional anchovy fritters offered as entrée, good appetizers, excellent grilled, mixed fry a little soft but tasty. We dined under a gazebo placed on the wide sidewalk in front of the restaurant, overlooking the sea. Too bad for the lack of tranquility that did not allow us to fully enjoy the evening: at the tables there were several children screaming or playing with cell phones provided by their parents to keep them good, with repetitive loud songs, cartoons, and annoying cackling voices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piacevolmente colpiti da questo ristorante. Innanzitutto i proprietari ci hanno offerto un antipastino con bruschetta, montanara e zeppolina di alici. Abbiamo poi ordinato i primi, tutti deliziosi e abbondanti. Buonissima anche la frittura di paranza. Per finire liquori e caffè tutti offerti dalla casa.
Consigliatissimo!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here after having read the extremely positive reviews. We left the restaurant fully disappointed for mainly two reasons:
1) the service: we reserved a table for 9 pm and they let us seat at 10 pm. But this was only the beginning, considering that the starters came 1h later at 11 pm. This means that our evening at Castellabate was literally ruined.
2) the quality of food: we really doubt that the fish was fresh and not frozen. The local wine could not be drink as it tasted more like vinegar.
To conclude we really advice against going there. I am Italian and I know what good food means.
