★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schiacciate with mushrooms is the best here. You may have to wait in line for a while since on the weekend is really crowded, but it worth the wait.
Lot of people goes on top of the mountain for the schiacciata, but over there is even too crowded. The best is to buy here and just go there to eat ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your a tourist and luckily enough to happen upon this place by car, like us you will be thrilled.
It’s a real local hangout and the food and service proves why. We were bowled over by the flavour of the food. We were a bit confused how to order but you go to the service counter where the little shop sells local produce, espressos and drinks. We ended up buying some wine before we left. We had trouble ordering because I can guarantee everything here will be delicious.
The highlight was the delicious mushroom pasta and wine as well as home made focaccia with provolone and artichoke and ham. We loved sitting amongst the locals and watching them enjoy what the region brings.
