Rustic restaurant in Vallombrosa, truly a gem in the heart of the forest, simple environment, abundant dishes at reasonable prices and most importantly, excellent quality of food served, I recommend fresh porcino and game.

Ideal place to enjoy a little cool. Woods with immense trees ... clean enough. There are bars and restaurants and a beautiful Abbey ... however, not open every day.

Unfortunately I must say that, having met him years ago and having always eaten well, this place has now become indescribable,
Sour Tuscan liver sauce, sour ravioli, amazing grilled meat due to its smallness and not very fresh meat, inedible tagliatelle with truffles ……. I stop describing I take the liberty of advising, since they are only open on weekends, to make thoughtful purchases of food rather than having it wasted in their refrigerators .......

Torneremo volentieri!
Excellent cuisine near the Vallombrosa meadow. First courses of fresh pasta, ravioli, tagliatelle with porcini and tortelli with Chianina ragout, Alpine fillet and fried porcini, all delicious! We also tried the grandmother's cake, really good. Very nice service and also fast- on a Tuesday for lunch. We will gladly come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most amazing local food from Reggello. I have been there many, many times on visits to Reggello and would highly recommend it. 5 star food, 5 star service and 5 star fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seems like a nice little authentic pizzeria but was sorely disappointed.
To start we asked for some olives, bread with olive oil and balsamic which is pretty standard for most Italian restaurants. Not here though, we were told "we don't do that sort of thing here" It was only when we had eaten the bread we noticed a bottle of balsam and olive oil on another un-attended table... Gutted!
The worst was yet to come...
With no English translation to been seen anywhere on the menu and no phone signal to translate it we received what we thought was sound advise from the waiter (who spoke very good English).
The three of us that had ordered the diavola pizza were told that it was topped with spicy selami and mozzarella.
What it ended up being was a stone baked pizza smeared with tomato puree and a couple of dollops of spicy relish and possibly the biggest ball of stone cold mozzarella sitting on top... Which when cut open burst like a amniotic sack and oozed all over the pizza which made it look like a baby had just vomited their milk all over your pizza.
If you are mad for mozzarella I'm sure you would love it. However I like the cheese on my pizzas hot and melted equally around not a huge mess of stone cold goo chucked on top.
Unfortunately three of us went from that pizzeria with empty bellies.
Luckily the night was salvaged with fresh gelato to be had up the road.
Wouldn't willingly return to that pizzeria though.
