★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best restaurant in Salerno confirmed. Kitchen right in your face as you walk in, this secluded restaurant offers a real gastronomic experience at a really reasonable price. I had one of the best beef steak ever.... Please look at those pictures. They have a great house wine as well. Can't recommend this enough! 50-60€ for 2 will give you such an experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant was OK in general. The personal was very nice, though if you do not speak Italian you will face some difficulties. I ordered all 3 courses. The starter was OK, but significantly overpriced. Definitely does not worth paying 8 euros for it. Then I had pasta, which was good, but nothing extraordinary. Finally I got my smoked cheese, and I pretty liked it.
In general, all portions were incredibly small. So you might remain hungry. Also, when the owner said said "you don't like it, you don't pay", means he was pretty confident about the service.

Pricing is warranted considering the quality and quantity of food provided. Also great wine recommendations based on your order! Would certainly visit again! PS get yourself a booking as this place is almost always full!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best meal I had during my recent trip to the Amalfi coast. The food was delicious and affordable, the staff was friendly and hospitable, and the decor was intimate and charming. Definitely try their mussels, house wine, and panna cotta!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I had dinner here while spending 1 night in Salerno. Hands down - the best pasta I’ve ever had - followed by a delicious steak. My boyfriend had the pasta as well, and the mussels. It was great value for the quality and portion sizes. The house wine was also tasty. I recommend you make a reservation, preferably early when they open (20:00) when there are less people. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in town!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant in the heart of salerno, with a very nice modern design respectfully set in a historical building. The menu is very limited, normally not more than a couple of options per night, and all recipes are simple and based on the quality of the products. Prices are very reasonable and home wine are good and not overpriced. Waiters can be a little overwhelming if you re not used to it but the service is overall good.
