★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting restaurant with a very authentic italian atmosphere. Decor is very intruiging. The menu is handwritten. Prices are super affordable...especially the wine! Pesto pasta was unbelievably amazing. Great meal and experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food at good price. Quality and tasty options, mostly on sea food and typical local specialties. The small, dark, maybe weird atmosphere would perhaps not please everyone, but the place is worth a visit! Further info: it's a place about anticonformisme, anti-fascism and mostly about history of revolutions and civil fights. Paints and decoration is on the theme.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a real gem hidden in Salerno. It is the last day of our trip and we have eaten a lot of different Italian food in a range of places. This is joint first on our list! It is small but absolutely amazing. The menu changes each lunch and dinner and is handwritten in Italian. We had no idea what it was- we couldn’t really read the handwriting but the waiter was so helpful in explaining everything to us. The food was fresh, delicious AND exceptionally well priced. We had a bottle of wine, a mixed starter to share and two mains all for €24. It may be cheap but it’s the best we have found in Salerno.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We asked for a table and they said that we had to wait 15min. 40min later no table was available. Thry didnt bother to offer us a drink or anything nor even come to let us know how long we had to wait so we decided to leave. We were the only ones waiting so there was no queue.
Food is not everything in a restaurant, service comes first. Waste if time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazingly fresh and well cooked food at unbelievably low prices. The restaurant has communal tables, handwritten in Italian menus, free water, free bread and absolutely no service fee. We had a little trouble with the menu, but the young man taking our order helped us a lot. I had the squid in tomato sauce dish and it was fantastic. This restaurant has a very homey and local feel. I didn't ask, but I believe this place only accepts cash.
