★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a very nice place but did not have many options for appetizers. May be it was off season that's why. Food was good and staff was nice. Restaurant meh. Ambience mixed, some part was good and some was mediocre. Wine was good, local one. They offered us a local wine worth 30 euros when we asked for wines under 15 euros. It was good but definitely over priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice local food, everything felt home cooked and made with love. A rustic dining establishment with a lot of history and charm. Great service and the lady boss spoke good english as well. They have a tasting platter for their antipasti where u get to try a little of everything- really liked the vegetable pie. Highly recommend their pastas- gnocchi was exceptional, and meats. They dont have fish or poultry here. Good wine selection at a variety of prices. The La Combera wines r good value. Make sure u try the desserts too! Zanzibar gelato and chocolate puddings to end the evening...yumms

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This "more than 300 years old" restaurant goes beyond simple pleasure from amazing Italian gastronomy and helped me better understand the traditional Italian culture. I did enjoy every bites and the delightful hospitality from this restaurant. People from the restaurant engaged with us and made my very first Italian truffle expereince very special. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 300-year-old restaurant! We had a really nice dinner there. The service was sweet, the food was delicious. If you want to get a local experience, then this is a place to go to. Food is always seasonal, so you might not get the dishes you see from the pictures in the reviews which makes it even better! Just don’t make our mistakes and order 7 starters + 3 primi. It was too much food :) But everything, the starters and pasta were super delicious. Highly recommend!
