Servizio insufficiente , chieste informazioni su un piatto che stavamo gustando la proprietaria ha preso il menú perché non si ricordava?cosa ci fosse. Il vino non era fresco al punto giusto e fatto notare la risposta é stata: “ eppure é da un po’ che é in frigor” …. e non ha portato un secchiello col ghiaccio. Dessert insignificante. Prezzo nella media.
 Well…. Well-finished and original dishes but the raw material is not up to par. Insufficient service, asked for information on a dish we were enjoying, the owner took the menu because she did not remember?what was there. The wine was not fresh at the right point and pointed out the answer was: "yet it has been in the fridge for a while" .... and he didn't bring an ice bucket. Insignificant dessert. Average price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pranzo di ferragosto. Tutto buono, a partire dal piccolo gamberetto in salsa verde di benvenuto. I primi particolari e ricercati. La cosa che più mi ha stupito, però, sono stati il pesce spada - cucinato semplice ma tenero e gustoso - e la panna cotta (incredibile). Porzioni potrebbero esse un filo più grandi, ma tutto sommato siamo usciti sazi.
Mid-August lunch. All good, starting with the welcome small shrimp in green sauce. The first details and sought after. The thing that surprised me most, however, were the swordfish - cooked simple but tender and tasty - and the panna cotta (incredible). Portions could be a bit larger, but all in all we left full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abito nella Val Curone da oltre 25 anni,ma questa è stata la sorpresa gastronomica più rilevante degli ultimi tempi: un ristorantino dove si mangiano piatti di pesce semplici e cucinati perfettamente.Il servizio è ottimo e veloce. La creatività dei piatti vincente. Il prezzo basso rispetto alla qualità. La location è bellissima nella piazza centrale di San Sebastiano Curone, a un ora da Milano. Che volete di più? Aggiorno la recensione senza cambiare una stella ?!Resta un ottimo ristorante ? di pesce : stupenda la crudità dell erica e il rombo. Pesce freschissimo, siamo a 50 km da genova, e cotto alla perfezione.
Anche dopo il lock down tutto perfetto .Complimenti Roberto!
I have lived in the Curone Valley for over 25 years, but this has been the most important gastronomic surprise of recent times: a small restaurant where you can eat simple and perfectly cooked fish dishes. The service is excellent and fast. The creativity of winning dishes. The low price compared to the quality. The location is beautiful in the central square of San Sebastiano Curone, one hour from Milan. What more do you want? I update the review without changing a star ?! It remains an excellent fish restaurant ?: the raw heather and turbot are wonderful. Fresh fish, we are 50 km from Genoa, and cooked to perfection.
Even after the lock down everything was perfect. Congratulations Roberto!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vale la pena risalire la Val Curone sino a San Sebastiano dove, nella mirabile e suggestiva piazzetta il ristorante l’Erica di Roberto prepara il miglior piatto di pesce crudo della zona. Ottime tutte le portate e la carta dei vini, prenotazione obbligatoria.
It is worth going up the Curone Valley as far as San Sebastiano where, in the wonderful and suggestive square, Roberto's L'Erica restaurant prepares the best raw fish dish in the area. Excellent all courses and wine list, reservations required.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrivate con 15 minuti di anticipo e fate una passeggiata nel borgo, case strette e alte, molto colorate, sembra Genova. Ristorante all'aperto, 30 coperti, tutto esaurito. Ottima cucina, servizio veloce e personale attento ai tavoli. Solo pesce, buona carta dei vini, abbiamo mangiato proprio bene. Ci torneremo in autunno.
Arrive 15 minutes early and take a walk in the village, narrow and tall houses, very colorful, it looks like Genoa. Outdoor restaurant, 30 seats, sold out. Excellent cuisine, fast service and attentive staff at the tables. Only fish, good wine list, we ate really well. We will be back in the fall.
