★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Certainly the best food I've had in Rome! Went in a party of seven speaking my very flawed basic Italian and was very well served by the nicest staff ever. They delivered great home-made-style food. We ordered very diverse plates and everyone was really impressed by the taste. I've had an awesome Cotoletta alla Bolognese, my friends loved their pasta and the vegetarian Parmegiana. We also had a great white house wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little cozy restaurant is tucked away on a back street near Porta Pia. After the first day in Rome we decided to take a chance on this restaurant for our first night's meal and it did not disappoint. The friendly and slightly homely atmosphere paired with the very accommodating staff we were sold. Would highly recommend the tiramisu if you are able to make it through to that stage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is 46 years old. I was told this by the owner, a man in his 70s (presumably), who serves at tables personally and makes time to talk and joke with everyone. The other persons in the staff are of the same age, but their lively conduct tells you that when you do the job you like all your life you never age. You'll see many regulars here, both young and old. The atmosphere is warm. This is a traditional roman restaurant all around, from the roman arches and frescoes to the dishes and the very good house wine (highly recommended). Thanks to all of the above, this place will remain a unique memory of my first Rome visit. Those who stay in the neighborhood should not miss this gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing service, amazing food, relaxed and cosy atmosphere, the best tiramisu I have had in Rome since I like mine with more of the cake/sponge than cream. Also the best risotto!! It was perfect :)
