Always pleasant to have lunch at Costa Paradiso, fish is their specialty, for example I recommend the appetizer where they skillfully serve raw dishes at the beginning and then finish with some hot dishes. Followed by tonnarelli with mullet bottarga and clams. Good value for money.

β β β β β Excellent fresh fish, long wait-time, but definitely worth it. Restaurant full of local residents, no tourists.

β β β β β Great sea food close to Piazza Fiume. They serve an excellent antipasto which is a nice sampler of different sea food dishes. Average to high prices but good quality.

β β β β β Very nice experience. Nice place, fresh produce, well prepared, extremely caring personnel. Fish offering is however the usual 300g-farm-raised stuff (eg. vongole, gamberi, spigola, orata, rombo), though upper quality. Prices are just fine for that.

β β β β β We've been eating at Costa Paradiso for 20 years and the freshness, high quality, delicious dishes and wonderful service are always the best! Alessandro and the staff know their seafood. We've brought many foreign guests there and all of them rave about Costa Paradiso.

β β β β β I usually do not rate restaurants, but I have just had one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life.
We had a decent starter, therefore not 1 star.
But my main dish (I had the Taglioni) was super salty. Also I ordered grilled veggies as a side dish and the waiter forgot to bring those. When I reminded him, he reacted quite rudely. As I had wanted to eat my pasta with the veggies, I waited for the side and then my pasta were cold, too. So he took them away without asking although I had only had two forks and I was still charged full price for them.
I just recommend you don't go there. It is also unusually expensive for the area - and especially for the quality of the food.
