Si tratta di un monte non alto, 691 metri, ma che si erge con pareti piuttosto ripide e rocciose, nel mezzo di una vasta zona collinare nell'alto Lazio. Dalla cima la vista può spaziare per molti chilometri a 360 gradi. Partendo da Sant'Oreste si può fare un bellissimo percorso ad anello di circa 8 chilometri. Sono però consigliabili scarpe o scarponcini da trekking perché, pur non essendovi tratti particolarmente difficili, il fondo in alcuni punti è molto sassoso e la salita o la discesa, secondo il verso che si sceglie, possono risultare abbastanza impegnative. È preferibile, a mio avviso partire da piazza Giosafat Riccioni. Wonderful place a stone's throw from Rome. F	Fabrizio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto Molto suggestivo consigliatissimo anche abbastanza agevole camminare nei sentieri anche discretamente facile raggiungere la vetta del Monte Soratte che si trova a 700 m di altitudine si possono ammirare alberi secolari di acero e piante molto belle spettacolari i Narcisi che in questo periodo stanno fiorendo Panorama eccezionale dalla vetta del Monte Soratte.
