★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A complex nature reserve along both banks of the Fiume Tevere. First visitors may start at the administration building near Meana, where a good map of all paths is available. When here, it is but a short walk to the grey heron rookery (nest colony).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to walk or run in the forest near the river. However, the views are not breathtaking and there are not many things to do - it's generally just a road in the forest along the riverside

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and peaceful natural immersed in the Sabina. You can enjoy the river and the walk along it which allows to do birdwatching or just have a walk/run inside the nature. It's very safe even though you may encounter some boars once in a while which however, will run away as soon as as they see you passing.
