★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rifugio posto su un punto panoramico, sulla cime del Monte Cerviero. Pur non essendo tra le cime più alte, da questo posto si gode un panorama impareggiabile. Lo sguardo può spaziare a 360 gradi. In direzione Est le cime innevate del Pollino e di Serra Dolcedorme, a Sud tutta la Valle del Coscile e più avanti quella del Crati con la Sila a Est Cosenza ed il Monte Cocuzzo sopra di questa. La Catena costiera tirrenica. Poi a ovest il Gruppo del Pellegrino. La Profonda spaccatura della Valle del Lago e in direzione Nord tutta la Valle del Mercure con i paesini della Basilicata; spicca in primo piano Rotonda, sede del Parco del Pollino.
Vi di arriva in macchina su una comoda strada sterrata, partendo dalla Madonnina sopra lo svincolo A2 di Campotenese.
Me è più bello a piedi, in 2 ore di tranquilla camminata.
 Refuge located on a panoramic point, on the top of Monte Cerviero. Although not among the highest peaks, from this place you can enjoy an incomparable panorama. The gaze can sweep 360 degrees. To the east the snow-capped peaks of Pollino and Serra Dolcedorme, to the south all the Valle del Coscile and further on that of the Crati with the Sila to the east Cosenza and Monte Cocuzzo above it. The Tyrrhenian coast chain. Then to the west the Pellegrino Group. The deep split of the Valle del Lago and towards the north the whole Mercure Valley with the villages of Basilicata; Rotonda, seat of the Pollino Park, stands out in the foreground.
You arrive by car on a comfortable dirt road, starting from the Madonnina above the A2 Campotenese junction.
It is nicer on foot, in 2 hours of quiet walk.
