M	Mattia Speroni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I padroni sono accoglienti e ospitali. Prezzi buoni e ottime sia le porzioni che la qualità dei piatti fatti senza alcun alimento precotto. Merita una fermata. The hosts are welcoming and hospitable. Good prices and excellent both the portions and the quality of the dishes made without any precooked food. Worth a stop.

Carne stracotta e con poco sapore, trota molto asciutta e scondita e in piccolissima quantità, pizzoccheri preparati coi fagiolini anziché con le più saporite verze.. rapporto qualità/prezzo piuttosto basso. Peccato, con un poco di maggiore attenzione il rifugio sarebbe un posto da da favola. The place where the refuge is located is very beautiful. However, the food served is not particularly tasty. Overcooked meat with little flavor, very dry and unseasoned trout and in very small quantities, pizzoccheri prepared with green beans instead of the tastier cabbage .. rather low quality / price ratio. Too bad, with a little more attention, the refuge would be a fairytale place.
G	Giulia Mezzogori on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rifugio raggiungibile in macchina, tramite un permesso di 5€ rilasciato dall'Hotel Rustichella. Altrimenti si può parchegiare la macchina più giù e farla a piedi, ma io consiglio la macchina! (C'è un pezzo di grotta buia da attraversare, non bellissima). Comunque vale la pena avventurarsi e raggiungere il rifugio perchè la visuale e il cigo sono ottimi. Noi abbiamo preso gnocchetti alle ortiche e polenta taragna, davvero buoni e abbondanti. Fate una visita! Refuge accessible by car, through a € 5 permit issued from the Hotel Rustichella. Otherwise you can park the car further down and do it on foot, but I recommend the car! (There's a piece of dark cave to cross, not beautiful). However it is worth venturing out and reaching the refuge because the view and the cigo are excellent. We have taken gnocchetti with nettles and polenta taragna, really good and abundant. Pay a visit!

Se volete fare un giro a preda rossa dovete assolutamente fermarvi a mangiare qui, oppure vale la pena andarci a posta!!! Spectacular location, very characteristic refuge, well-kept. Friendly and helpful staff and great food, but above all very low prices. If you want to go for a ride with red prey you absolutely have to stop and eat here, or it's worth going to the post !!!

Dopo due forchettate mi accorgo dei funghi che non avevo riconosciuto da subito perché non conosco tutte le varianti, faccio portare via il piatto e ordino della bresaola. Conclusione in cassa mi fanno pagare il piatto, cito “ ha stuzzicato e noi lo dobbiamo buttare via”. LA PROSSIMA VOLTA SPECIFICATE BENE IL PIATTO(polenta con brasato e funghi) così non butto via €15!!! ZERO PROFESSIONALITÀ. REPLICA DEL 23/08/2021 CHIEDA ALLE SUE COLLABORATRICI DI RACCONTARE I FATTI NELL’ORDINE CORRETTO E CON LA PERSONA CON CUI SONO SUCCESSI. ALLA CAMERIERA HO CHIESTO SOLO SE IL BRASATO ERA DI MANZO quando ci ha preso l’ordine, nient’altro. E A PORTARMI VIA IL PIATTO È STATA QUESTA SIGNORA, NON LA CAMERIERA…come lei racconta nella sua replica. Quindi signori Ok che ognuno voglia portare acqua al suo mulino, ma arrivare a modificare i fatti accaduti mi sembra troppo. I order a plate of taragna with braised meat as written on the menu and I get the dish with mushrooms inside. After two forkfuls I notice the mushrooms that I had not recognized immediately because I do not know all the variations, I have the dish taken away and I order some bresaola. Conclusion at the cashier they make me pay for the dish, I quote "he teased and we have to throw it away". NEXT TIME SPECIFY THE DISH WELL (polenta with braised meat and mushrooms) so I don't throw away € 15 !!! ZERO PROFESSIONALISM. REPLY OF 08/23/2021 ASK YOUR COLLABORATORS TO TELL THE FACTS IN THE CORRECT ORDER AND WITH THE PERSON WITH WHICH THEY HAPPENED. I ONLY ASKED THE WAITER IF THE BRASATO WAS BEEF when she took the order, nothing else. The episode that she tells happened yes, BUT WITH THE LADY GOING OUT TO BRING THE SECOND COURSE TO MY BOY (he had a cap on his head and an apron so to speak), I asked her if they were mushrooms and therefore if I could have other meat but without mushrooms, and after telling me that the other main course of meat was also with mushrooms, I ordered the bresaola dish… the dish was almost intact. Pulizia eccelsa, che a volte non trovi nemmeno negli hotel, ne siamo rimaste davvero piacevolmente colpite. I proprietari sono gentili, simpatici e accoglienti. Abbiamo mangiato divinamente e dormito altrettanto bene, i materassi sono molto comodi. Il tutto a una cifra irrisoria. Consigliatissimo! Grazie e a presto! We stayed in this refuge one night, the perfect starting point for Val di Mello and Val Masino. Excellent cleanliness, which sometimes you don't even find in hotels, we were really pleasantly surprised. The owners are kind, friendly and welcoming. We ate fabulous and slept just as well, the mattresses are very comfortable. All for a negligible amount. Highly recommended! Thank you, see you soon!

There were 3 other tables. Everything was very familiar, we had home made pizzoccheri and we enjoyed the food and the company. Definitely worth a stop
