★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hut is not very cosy. The self-service-system is, in my eyes, problematic at the moment. The food wasn't anything special and in addition it was quite expensive. The staff partly only spoke Italian.
The toilets weren't very clean and there was no paper or working hand-dryer.
I rather recommend the Lavaredo-hut, 30min. footpath from the Rifugio Auronzo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meals are bit expensive, but that's ok I think. You came here for the views not for michelin star service. Great place for starting or finishing that hike;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful views, perfect bike climb (not easy, few kms of 12-16 percent grade ascent ?) with rewarding views. It happen that the upper parking is full so they dont allow more cars - and then it's perfect for bikes - calm and not crowded comparing to other passes/climbs. You cant go further than Auronzo by bike, it's not allowed, so you either walk to see this epic Tre Cime view and leave your bike at parking slot or you finish there. Around 1 pm the rifugio was closed to do the sanitary clean up, so we couldn't enter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First and last time I was there was to climb in 1976. I had a great time. Pasta bolognese was cheap, the rooms were inexpensive and at the time they were giving out surplus wool Italian Army blankets. For a 24 year old living in Europe clu.bing and cycling everything was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the end, it was the best choice we’ve made. We had a a bad weather, so it was great to have our car nearby with our dry clothes to change. The room was simple but it’s what to expected, the shared restroom is clean. We had the half board and the dinner and breakfast were good . The view was excellent… it it wouldn’t be so cloudy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a hike of 3,5 hours we had lunch here, there was a buffet (pasta, gnocchi, beef, potatoes, beans and some pastries and cake as dessert). Food was good and people were friendly. Views are awesome! No toilets though, they refer to the public toilets (paid).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check the Facebook page before your trip, it was closed this year from March to June. We hiked the road from Lago di Misurina about 7 miles round trip. Not an extremely difficult hike but tiring as most is uphill and the last kilometer or so there was still a lot of snow on the road (may 12th) but awesome views all the way up even though it was cloudy the day we hiked it. On a clear day I would highly recommend.
