Spesso è il luogo di manifestazioni legate agli alpini ed alla prima guerra mondiale. È ai piedi delle Tre Cime, con un panorama favoloso. It is located on the easy and easy path that leads from the Auronzo refuge to the Lavaredo refuge. It is often the site of events linked to the Alpine troops and the First World War. It is at the foot of the Tre Cime, with a fabulous view.
A	Angela & Roberto Stocco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In realtà si tratta di una chiesetta situata sul sentiero che collega il Rifugio Auronzo al Rifugio Lavaredo, dedicata agli Alpini. Una delle lapidi a ricordo poste sui massi intorno alla chiesetta afferma però che la stessa è stata costruita da due bersaglieri nel 1917 in memoria del 12° battaglione Bersaglieri per ricordare i combattimenti avvenuti in zona durante la prima guerra mondiale. Non è stato possibile vedere l'interno in quanto la chiesetta era chiusa senza nessuna possibilità visiva. In reality it is a small church located on the path that connects the Auronzo refuge to the Lavaredo refuge, dedicated to the Alpini. One of the memorial plaques placed on the boulders around the church, however, states that it was built by two bersaglieri in memory of the 12th Bersaglieri battalion to remember the fighting that took place in the area during the First World War. It was not possible to see the interior as the church was closed without any visual possibility.

A	Anthony Cheesman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old chapel at the foot of the glorious summit of Tre Cime di Lavaredo a mountain range above Mesurina in the Dolomites. Entry to the range costs €30 per car to which is expensive if you are alone. Would have given 5 stars if the price per person was reasonable!

The path from the Refugio is wide enough for a car and is fairly easy to walk even for people who have trouble. Dare I say a wheel chair could be pushed to the Chapel. It would be a little bumpy. The chapel itself is very modest. And seem to have served as a memorial most for people that have lost their lives tragically on the mountains up there. I could not get into the chapel it was locked but if you can see the pictures I was able to take a photo or two. Watch for the weather though. As we we're at the entrance gate to pay the 30 Euro entrance fee for our vehicle, I noticed some clouds gathering up top near the Refugio. By the time we drove up to the upper parking lot the entire Mountain was enveloped in clouds and visibility was down as low as 30 or 40 feet in front of you. The day before I made the same journey and it was absolutely beautiful with sunsets and clear views for miles and miles and miles. If you're looking for view then make sure the weather is clear because it changes very quickly.
