E' una meta riservata ad escursionisti esperti (sentiero Brovedani dalla Val d'Ansiei, sentiero attrezzato dal Bivacco Voltolina e ferrata Vandelli dall'omonimo rifugio). E' situato in un affascinante luogo isolato immerso in una natura suggestiva. 9 posti letto, spesso occupati, specie col brutto tempo.
Meta superlativa. Merita una visita.
Lonely bivouac in the Sorapiss group. It is a destination reserved for expert hikers (Brovedani path from Val d'Ansiei, path equipped by the Voltolina Bivouac and Vandelli via ferrata from the refuge of the same name). It is located in a charming isolated place surrounded by suggestive nature. 9 beds, often occupied, especially in bad weather.
Superlative goal. Worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci ha salvati quando, colti dal maltempo durante la ferrata Vandelli, non avremmo potuto prosegiure. Ci ha fatto passare una notte asciutta e riparata. Resta però un bivacco molto vecchio e con qualche topolino, se venisse rinnovato sarebbe una vera perla.
He saved us when caught by bad weather during the strike Vandelli, we could not have prosegiure. He made us spend a dry and sheltered night. However, it remains a very old camp and with some little mouse, if it was renovated would be a real gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bivacco tappa dell'altavia 4 che evita di farsi one shot la tirata dal Vandelli al San Marco. Sporco, la porta si chiude male ed evidentemente ha consentito l'accesso ai topi dato che coperte e materassini sono mezzi mangiati. Sconsigliato il pernottamento. Acqua non ce n'è e se si prosegue sul sentiero Minazio (che è infinito) portarsene dietro molta perché si ha il sole in fronte e non si ha la possibilità di scendere a valle prima di parecchie ore.

Bivouac stage of the Altavia 4 which avoids getting one shot from the pull from Vandelli to San Marco. Dirty, the door closes badly and evidently allowed access to the mice as blankets and mats are half eaten. Not recommended overnight stay. There is no water and if you continue on the Minazio path (which is infinite) bring a lot of it with you because you have the sun in front and you do not have the possibility to go down to the valley for several hours.
