The nearby via ferrata has incredible views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an incredible Rifugio! Extremely picturesque and some of the best food we’ve ever had on the mountain. Friendly service as well. Only downside is no showers but everything else makes up for that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Among eight huts I stayed in on my way through AV9, this one was absolutely the worst by a wide margin. To guarantee the reservation, the hut owner demanded a deposit that had been paid months ago. Upon arrival at the shelter, I was surprised to learn that my reservation had been cancelled without any notification. No explanation or apology was given. Instead of a dormitory, I was placed in a dusty attic (see photo) in which one could not stand upright. Because of the lack of insulation and heating, the temperature at night was not much different from the temperature outside. Lack of social distancing and observance of COVID restrictions. Unfriendly and arrogant staff.
