★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rimasti qui 1 notte, percorso un po'ripido e faticoso (da Casera mela a Galvana), interessanti le leggende che circolano riguardo questo rifugio. Panorama che ripaga la fatica, casa piccolina, due piani, il 2° senza finestre, no bagni, no letti, caminetto piccolo, acqua potabile distante pochi minuti a piedi, bel posto.
Stayed here 1 night, a bit steep and tiring path (from Casera mela to Galvana), interesting the legends that circulate about this refuge. Panorama that pays off the effort, small house, two floors, the 2nd without windows, no bathrooms, no beds, small fireplace, drinking water just a few minutes' walk away, nice place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solitario bivacco on Val Zemola. Interno spartano ma sufficientemente accogliente. Sorge in una piccola radura, affascinante in autunno e con la neve.
L'accesso diretto è dal parcheggio della strada della Val Zemola nei pressi di Casera Mela.
Si può proseguire fino al rifugio Maniago sotto il Duranno per sentiero non agevolissimo..
Solitary bivouac on Val Zemola. Spartan interior but welcoming enough. It rises in a small clearing, fascinating in autumn and with snow.
Direct access is from the parking lot of the Val Zemola road near Casera Mela.
You can continue to the Maniago refuge under the Duranno by a path that is not very easy ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ É sempre bello ritornare in casera Galvana, x il luogo dov'è posta ovvero una radura baciata dal sole con il panorama su sua Maestà Duranno. Ristrutturata e tenuta benissimo, dispone di una stanza principale con tavolo panche e caminetto, una attigua come deposito legna attrezzi e tramite scale della stanza su tavolato x dormire. Il suo accesso tramite sentiero CAI n 908 da Stei de Mela, il sentiero é bello ripido ma consente di guadagnare quota in breve tempo. Si può compiere l'attraversata verso il rifugio Maniago oppure arrivare alla vicina forcella ed intraprendere la ripida salita su erba del monte Porgeit.
It is always nice to return to Casera Galvana, x the place where it is located or a clearing kissed by the sun with the view of his Majesty Duranno. Renovated and kept very well, it has a main room with benches table and fireplace, an adjoining room for storing wood and tools and stairs to the room on a plank for sleeping. Its access via the CAI path no. 908 from Stei de Mela, the path is beautiful steep but allows you to gain altitude in a short time. You can make the crossing towards the Maniago refuge or get to the nearby fork and take the steep ascent of Monte Porgeit on grass.
