Stupendo monumento di arte romana, tra i più belli di Macerata dopo lo Sferisterio. All'entrata c'è anche un piccolo Bar/ristoro ? It is an ancient Roman theater inside Macerata where ball games are also held and where many people practice training, racing and other sports being a very large oval. Wonderful monument of Roman art, among the most beautiful in Macerata after the Sferisterio. At the entrance there is also a small Bar / restaurant ?

Come si fa a valorizzare il turismo in questo modo?? Particolare, ma altrettanto affascinante la possibilità di rivivere i fatti del luogo attraverso la realtà virtuale in 4D. Peccato che il Comune non valorizzi a sufficienza il sito storico. Fascinating experience: a particular place told with passion and involvement by the guide, voluntary and free who helps to retrace the historical stages by reviving the ancient Roman theater. Particular, but equally fascinating, is the possibility of reliving local events through 4D virtual reality. It is a pity that the Municipality does not give enough value to the historic site.

Non è grande ma è ben tenuto e può vantare la presenza di resti romani di un anfiteatro e diversi altri resti/parti di colonne, frontoni e epigrafi. Consigliato !! Beautiful archaeological site within walking distance of macerata! It is not large but it is well maintained and can boast the presence of Roman remains of an amphitheater and several other remains / parts of columns, pediments and epigraphs. Recommended !!
R	Roberto Sdrubolini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camminando lungo le vie del sito archeologico si respira palesemente quanto è stata laboriosa l'età Romana, non stiamo parlando di un grande sito ma nel suo piccolo è pur sempre un'antica cittadella di epoca romana. Walking along the streets of the archaeological site you can clearly breathe how laborious the Roman age was, we are not talking about a large site but in its small it is still an ancient citadel of the Roman era.
