★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Public park (but picnics forbidden) and well-swept (good leaf-collector machine but noisy). Paths well laid out ("keep to paths") so plenty of space to avoid ppl contact.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a short visit, we had to skip the museum. Clearly this complex of monastic and lordly buildings has great potential as a retreat and conference center. The palace has been left to an uncertain future. Couldn't this become a small university in intercultural studies for the Mediterranean region? The absence of the Cistercian monks is painful, you can feel the sense of loss. The religious literature scattered about the church in garish colors and poor taste tells us that they have a leadership vacuum.
