★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situati nelle vicinanze del Palazzo Ospedale del Salvatore possiamo trovare questi resti di origine romana; non ho molto ben capito, in origine, a cosa appartenevano, ma dal punto di vista del fascino archeologico, ne sono sicuramente pieni. Le strutture si possono ammirare passeggiando tranquillamente per il vicino vialone, mentre si arriva nei pressi del Palazzo Lateranense.
Located near the Palazzo Ospedale del Salvatore we can find these remains of Roman origin; I did not understand very well, originally, what they belonged to, but from the point of view of archaeological charm, they are certainly full of them. The structures can be admired walking peacefully through the nearby avenue, while arriving near the Lateran Palace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Laterano, si trovava all'interno delle Mura Aureliane e in via Amba Aradam, sono stati ritrovati diversi reperti archeologici della Roma antica.
Insieme a quelli ritrovati, sotto la Basilica di San Giovanni (i più significativi), il Battistero e l'Ospedale di San Giovanni dell'Addolorata, costituiscono un'importante testimonianza per comprendere come era la planimetria di questa importante area, già nei primi secoli dopo Cristo.
The Lateran, was located inside the Aurelian Walls and in via Amba Aradam, several archaeological finds from ancient Rome have been found.
Together with those found, under the Basilica of San Giovanni (the most significant), the Baptistery and the Hospital of San Giovanni dell'Addolorata, constitute an important testimony to understand how the plan of this important area was, already in the first centuries after Christ.
