★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i had cancelled this booking in april for a stay in july. got robbed of 1000 euros in july!! if you don't speak italian avoid this hotel. no reply to many emails and got nowhere on the phone with them. even offered to pay 250 euros cancelation fee (as per their website policy) to recoup the loss as they refused to refund me, again refused. absolutely disgusting. i would never resort to bad reviews but unfortunately was left with no choice.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reception a little too busy and so stressed out. Lots of stairs so not good if you have a stroller. As at Lake Garda overall no value for money when it comes to the room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is at a great walking distance to the old centre. Rooms have a great view and the staff is very helpful and kind. They also speak very well English and German.
The dinner for €18, how attractive the price is and the ingredients look on the menu, was unacceptable and of such poor quality. We left after the first bite of the main course. Such a waste for this nice hotel. Breakfast on the other hand was good.
Would come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hotel Villa Gardenia.
The room was clean and the staff nice and welcoming. All safety measures were in place to contain COVID-19.
The spa area could be reserved by each room, so you were alone there and there was no risk due to other guests coming too close to you.
The bathroom was a but outdated, but impeccably clean, so no big complaints there.
Close walk to Limone town and just across from the new hiking and biking trail around Lake Garda.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is highly recommended, the view are insane, the staff are extremely friendly, nothing is too much trouble, the owner is very present and he always checks in throughout the day. Everything is affordable with free parking, beds are comfortable and everything you would possibly want is in this accommodation. Location is close to town and ferry services to other lakeside towns. I don’t normally write reviews however this hotel was outstanding.
