R	Riccardo Iacobucci on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Con i suoi 1.811 metri di quota credo sia il rifugio più alto dei Monti Sibillini. La zona è molto ventosa ed è punto di partenza (per chi arriva in auto) per Pizzo Tre Vescovi, Pizzo Berro e Monte Priora. Per mangiare occorre sempre prenotare in anticipo perchè la sala non è molto grande ed i visitatori, specie nei fine settimana estivi, sono parecchi. With its 1,811 meters of altitude I believe it is the highest refuge in the Sibillini Mountains. The area is very windy and is the starting point (for those arriving by car) for Pizzo Tre Vescovi, Pizzo Berro and Monte Priora. To eat, it is always necessary to book in advance because the room is not very large and the visitors, especially on summer weekends, are many.

Il cibo è semplice ma ottimo, migliore di quello di molti ristoranti e i gestori sono persone molto cordiali. The place is beautiful and the refuge experience is also beautiful. An impossible place not to love for any mountain enthusiast. The food is simple but great, better than many restaurants and the hosts are very friendly people.

Si raggiunge facilissimamente parcheggiando a Pintura con una strada bianca, in lieve salita, per nulla faticosa. Il cibo è buonissimo, i costi sono ragionevoli, le camere sono piccole e con letti a castello. Ovviamente non ci si deve aspettare un albergo, e forse le altre persone non se ne sono rese conto, perché hanno parlato fino a tarda notte e alla mattina presto messo sveglie nei cellulari e iniziato a fare gli zaini. Suggerisco ai "padroni di casa" (fantastici, super cordiali) di allestire degli avvisi per il silenzio e delle istruzioni di buona convivenza per quei turisti che evidentemente non sono abituati a vivere la montagna! The refuge is in a fantastic place, with views to be admired at any time of day. It can be reached very easily by parking in Pintura with a white road, slightly uphill, not at all tiring. The food is very good, the costs are reasonable, the rooms are small and with bunk beds. Obviously you shouldn't expect a hotel, and maybe other people didn't realize it, because they talked late into the night and early in the morning put up their cell phones and started packing backpacks. I suggest to the "hosts" (fantastic, super friendly) to set up notices for silence and instructions for good coexistence for those tourists who obviously are not used to living the mountains!

Dopo una bella passeggiata di circa 5 km in salita abbiamo dormito e mangiato al rifugio del fargno partendo dallo Z chalet di Bolognola. Chiaramente per quanto riguarda i posti letto si tratta di letti a castello in camere essenziali, a cena abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo, chiaramente abbiamo dormito lì per l'atmosfera, ma mangiare bene non guasta...anzi! Unica pecca solo una presa per tutti gli ospiti delle camere per caricare i telefoni. Consiglio di portare una ciabatta o una multipla o addirittura un caricatore usb. Consigliatissimo. Nice experience in the mountains. After a nice walk of about 5 km uphill we slept and ate at the Fargno refuge starting from the Z chalet in Bolognola. Of course, as far as the beds are concerned, these are bunk beds in basic rooms, we ate really well at dinner, clearly we slept there for the atmosphere, but eating well doesn't hurt ... on the contrary! The only flaw is a socket for all guests of the rooms to charge their phones. I recommend bringing a power strip or a multiple or even a USB charger. Highly recommended.
L	Luciano Brandimarti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rifugio posto sul Valico che fa da sparti acque Tirreno/Adriatico. Ha un Panorama bellissimo. Base di Partenza per Escursioni in Quota dei M.Sibillini. Ottima la gestione. Refuge located on the Pass that divides the Tyrrhenian / Adriatic waters. It has a beautiful panorama. Departure Base for Excursions in Altitude of the Sibillini Mountains. Excellent management.

Sono stata al Fargno nel 2018, insieme ad un gruppo di amici : tutti piuttosto delusi. Se metterete ancora la polenta nel menù, vi prego di evitare l'olio, che non ci azzecca affatto Not very clean environment, polenta floating in a sea of oil. Never again ! I went to Fargno in 2018, together with a group of friends: all quite disappointed. If you still put polenta on the menu, please avoid the oil, which doesn't quite hit us

T	Taylor Sousa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely destroyed our rental car trying to get here and never been happier. Such an amazing experience, incredibly beautiful. We were above the clouds, hung out with some sheep dogs and goats and got to see a stellar set of mountains. Had a hell of a time getting back to our Airbnb but we didn’t even care. 10/10 would recommend going here, just don’t drive a Ford Focus (it wasn’t strong enough).
