Cucina deliziosa, simpatia e disponibilità. At the end of a very nice excursion, excellent weather, excellent company .... the Altino Refuge was the icing on the cake. Delicious cuisine, friendliness and helpfulness.

Accoglienza e locale eccellenti, cibo ottimo a cominciare dalle succulente tagliatelle ai funghi per finire con l'immancabile agnello arrosto. Davvero un posto rilassante dove trascorrere delle belle giornate di relax in montagna. Annarita (la cuoca) ed Amedeo (il marito) con i figli, Alessandro e Federico sempre disponibili e cortesi nei confronti dei loro ospiti. Torneremo a trovarvi sicuramente. We went to the altino refuge for a lunch with relatives on the first weekend of November preceded by an excursion to those enchanting places, with clear skies. Excellent hospitality and local, excellent food starting with the succulent tagliatelle with mushrooms and ending with the inevitable roast lamb. Really a relaxing place to spend some nice relaxing days in the mountains. Annarita (the cook) and Amedeo (the husband) with their children, Alessandro and Federico always available and courteous towards their guests. We will definitely come back to visit you.

Even if inside a container, (due to the devastating earthquake) nice and welcoming place, very kind staff, respected distances, thank you for doing your job in this way. Un posto da provare sicuramente e da ritornarci al più presto. Quality food, abundant and genuine. Punctual service with friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Good value for money. Non solo per i piatti tradizionali cucinati con ingredienti autoprodotti o a km0 ma anche per la calorosa accoglienza dei proprietari che culmina con brindisi che coinvolgono tutti i commensali in un'atmosfera conviviale d'altri tempi! Poi lo spettacolo continua fuori, dove si possono fare passeggiate meravigliose ai piedi del monte Vettore! All special! Not only for the traditional dishes cooked with self-produced or km0 ingredients but also for the warm welcome of the owners which culminates with a toast involving all the diners in a convivial atmosphere of yesteryear! Then the show continues outside, where you can take wonderful walks at the foot of Mount Carrier!

A	Anna P. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't had the chance to go there after the explosion and the earthquake that devastated most of the buildings but the true soul of the place is the mountain and the people that made that place special and welcoming.. I hope I'll get there again in the future but until then I highly recommend going and contribute to the rebirth of Rifugio Altino!
W	WishCasting on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: -quiet -so pretty and natural -very convenient and tidy rooms. Some of the rooms are fantastic. Others are more basic but all very practical and pretty. -wifi available -local dinner style, roasted barbecue and roasted vegetables with real olive oil. Great food and local wine. -Amazing view -plenty of animals around and flowers -many trekking spots nearby -very kind staff Negative aspects: -not a negative aspect really, but it's a bit far. Conclusion: Go. Convenient and beautiful. Just a stay if your stopping and going. Not a place for long stays.
