β β β β β This place is special. Made our way around 1030 PM on a Thursday expecting it to be a quiet night. Entered a very energetic space with jazz music and all locals dining. Great wine list of nearby etna natural wine producers. Bonus is Martinas generous hospitality. Hands down our favourite restaurant this trip.

β β β β β Unique place in the West Etna region. Very cosy, original and price/quality more than correct. To start you get boiled eggs and best homemade mayonaise ever, never seen before and the kids loved it just as I did. Amazing Franciacorta that put my wife on fire and the lamb ribs were delicious too. Finally, although using the wrong brand, they were very helpful when asking what chocolate they use in the dessert. Absolute must when you're around for everyone.

β β β β β Quaint quirky restaurant serving good local food at reasonable prices. Shame about the rude and grumpy owner. When we came to settle the bill by credit card he looked at us with contempt. Then when I inadvertently entered the wrong PIN he actually banged his fist on the table. I couldnβt believe it. Never again.

β β β β β Recommended by our Etna excursion guide, we had our last dinner before leaving Sicily at this quaint restaurant. Tucked in a quite little town, Milo, near Zafferana Etnea (our starting point of the Mt Etna excursion) this hidden gem serves good selection of hearty, unassuming dishes. The meat dishes on their menu looked really good. I was contemplating between lamb, pork shank and grilled black pork ribs . In the end I went with the black pork ribs and it was perfectly cooked to medium. It was delicious and I wished I had room in my stomach to sample the pork shank too?
