β β β β β A whim decision to go here whilst searching for good restaurants nearby our hotel had us at Pupinas. The food and service there is amazing!! Get the cheesecake and the duck and the salmon, it was all fav. So great we went back twice! My friend and I will forever think of this restaurant when we think of Rome. We had a great dinner after a long day in Rome. Food is veeeery tasty and service is good we will definitely come back when we visit Italy next time.

β β β β β Beautiful little restaurant where my wife and I went for dinner. The staff was very friendly and professional. As for the food, it was delicious. We had fried artichoke, two pasta dish and one veal dish. All excellent. The tiramisu was maybe the only item on the menu that needed improvement. It was a little too liquid to our liking.

β β β β β Hands down, the best carbonara Iβve ever had! Thank god my husband and I had the same thing otherwise there would have been horrendous food envy. Stumbled upon this place en route to the Vatican where there are endless amounts of terrible restaurants so this place is well worth walking slightly out of the way for. Lovely ambiance and friendly service, highly recommended.

β β β β β Surprisingly this is a good value restaurant which has good food without hidden price especially for a tourist. The Carbonara is cooked in a modern manner with slight salty and thick sauce. Really dig the bread before the pasta was served. There is no cover charge and the water is at no cost.

β β β β β Similar to other reviews, friendly service and delicious food - I had the carbonara. The serving was smaller than some of the other pasta dishes I had in Rome however was probably less casual than those restaurants and it would be perfect with the normal Italian meal (first course, second, desserts etc). I actually prefer this size as I like trying multiple dishes for dinner. Most of the servers speak English too. This place was recommended by a friend who was a local and was definitely one of my more enjoyable meals during my short stay in Rome.

β β β β β Excellent food. Service was good. Bruschetta and burrata where both delicious. The carbonara was a little too salty for my preference, but the cacio e pepe was very good. The tiramisu is was one of the best Iβve ever had. Small but decent selection of wines.
