All I can say is, amazing people, delicious hams and outstanding service! Mr. Bagatto family is very passionate about their products and caring about their customers’ satisfaction. I gave it a try a few days ago by placing an order through email for a Christmas gift box β€œLa Lanterna”. Mr. Bagatto arranged and managed everything very smoothly, and before I was able to notify my father to expect a surprise package for Christmas, he has already received it; it is called an exceptional service! If you still don’t have an idea for your Christmas gift, surprise your family with this delicious prosciutto.

Whoa! We took a detour because San Daniele was close to our route and we like the ham. We navigated to the city center and took the first thing that said "ham". What a piece of luck. There was one lady who spoke a bit of English, no German. We asked for a table and she suggested ham and cheese and we agreed. It took a while and we got our plates with warm bread. That was really, really good! I was a bit surprised to find that I can get stuffed on paper thin ham. The toilets are good.

San Daniele prosciutto is the best.... Nice place to have a rest... Eat light lunch and buy some stuff.

We did a short visited guide to Bagatto. A short video about the production process was shown and then we were guided to the drying room. Interesting to see! However, not so much time and attention was paid to provide us with a nice tour. People were very busy and not so welcoming. The short visited guide was for free and after we took place in the restaurant and ordered some prosciutto. Again, people were not so friendly and service was very slow. Nice to taste some prosciutto but if you would really like to see how these hams are produced, maybe another place would share more info and take the time to guide you around.

What a fantastic place! We came from Toronto and booked a visit to the prosciutto production and the owner himself took the time to give us a tour. Absolutely great and very kind! Then we had a prosciutto tasting and the meat was incredible. Highly recommend this place over the other larger factories as this was much more personal and enjoyable! Thank you!

The prosciutto was really good, and so were the breadsticks. The cheese platter had an interesting selection, but the sauces that came with it really made the difference. The pickles were a bit of a hit and miss, you won't miss much by skipping them. Service was really really lacking. We waited 20 minutes to order, and then 30 minutes for our food. Considering it was only cold platters, I'm not sure what the problem was. In line to pay, the owner decided to have people behind us pay first, because they were in a hurry, whereas our party could apparently afford to wait some more. We then had to wait as another waitress fumbled with the cash register for at least 10 minutes with not a word of apology. The food might be good, but they do not seem to respect their customers much.
