Sono stata qui per cena con due amici: in totale abbiamo ordinato 9 piatti del menù e nessuno ci ha deluso.
La cameriera molto attenta a tutte le nostre esigenze e sorridente (sotto la mascherina:p).
Carino lo spazio esterno, nonostante sia sulla strada che attraversa l'abitato di Cernusco.

I was here for dinner with two friends: in total we ordered 9 dishes from the menu and no one disappointed us.
The waitress very attentive to all our needs and smiling (under the mask: p).
Nice outdoor space, despite being on the road that crosses the town of Cernusco.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moderno ristorante posizione nella via principale con ambiente minimal e spazi adeguare interni ed esterni. Personale qualificato gentile e disponibile. Tavoli ampi e sedie comode. Servizio lento ma la presentazione dei piatti e la loro composizione è degna di nota. Materie prime freschissime e di qualità. Menú essenziale e perfettamente equilibrato con proposte innovative tra carne e pesce. La grafica risente troppo di toni scuri su scuro che no facilitano una rapida ed efficace lettura. La ricercatezza dei piatti meritano la lode e non temono il più audace tra gli chef, l'eccellenza regna sovrana, il più severo degli intenditori sarà sorpreso, quantità adeguate. Essenziale ed azzeccata la lista dei vini con proposte regionali di qualità a prezzi assolutamente adeguati. Eccellenze tra i dolci, sorbetti e granite rigorosamente fatti in casa. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Facilità di parcheggio nell'area circostante il locale con facilità di accesso per i diversamente abili. È assolutamente preferibile prenotare. Il ristorante aderisce alle varie promo nazionali ed internazionali con The Fork e TripAdvisor che scontano il conto finale aumentandone considerevolmente la competitività.
Modern restaurant located in the main street with minimal ambiance and spaces suitable for indoor and outdoor. Qualified staff polite and helpful. Large tables and comfortable chairs. Slow service but the presentation of the dishes and their composition is noteworthy. Fresh and quality raw materials. Essential and perfectly balanced menu with innovative proposals between meat and fish. The graphics are affected too much by dark tones that do not facilitate a quick and effective reading. The refinement of the dishes deserve praise and do not fear the most daring of chefs, excellence reigns supreme, the most severe of connoisseurs will be surprised, adequate quantities. The wine list is essential and spot on with quality regional proposals at absolutely adequate prices. Excellences among desserts, sorbets and granitas strictly homemade. Excellent quality-price relation. Easy parking in the area surrounding the room with easy access for the disabled. It is absolutely preferable to book. The restaurant adheres to various national and international promos with The Fork and TripAdvisor that discount the final bill, considerably increasing its competitiveness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nei giorni scorsi siamo stati a cena al porta rossa. Ambiente sobrio e discreto. Personale in sala molto cortese/disponibile e soprattutto attento al cliente e alle sue esigenze. Piatti del nuovo menù, oltre che esteticamente belli, molto buoni e ben preparati. È evidente la qualità delle materie prime e l'attenzione al dettaglio anche il più semplice.I prezzi sono adeguati alla proposta considerando la qualità e l'entità della preparazione. Le porzioni sono giuste x quantità, nn ti alzi con appetito. Lo consiglio e nn mancherò di tornare per sperimentare nuovi sapori.

Dishes from the new menu, as well as aesthetically beautiful, very good and well prepared. The quality of the raw materials and the attention to detail are evident, even the simplest.The prices are appropriate to the proposal considering the quality and extent of the preparation. The portions are right x quantity, you don't get up with an appetite. I recommend it and I will not fail to return to experience new flavors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cucina raffinata e composta da prodotti genuini. Prezzi assolutamente accattivanti rispetto al menù che varia a seconda della reperibilità dei prodotti di stagione. Ampia carta dei vini italiani e stranieri. Con felicità attribuisco il massimo del punteggio alla Portarossa (che si chiama così perché la porta di ingresso e un imponente portone). La struttura è una sapiente ristrutturazione di una storica editoria, gli interni richiamano gli elementi di acciaio e il calore del legno. Cucina parzialmente a vista. Le verdure e i profumi vengono coltivate e utilizzate dallo chef. Il servizio è stato molto preciso, attento e cordiale, nonostante quella sera si celebrasse una festa di laurea composta da un grande gruppo. Attenzione al minimo dettaglio per una esperienza che non vi deluderà.
Refined cuisine made up of genuine products. Absolutely attractive prices compared to the menu which varies according to the availability of seasonal products. Extensive Italian and foreign wine list. With happiness I attribute the maximum score to the Portarossa (which is so called because the entrance door is an imposing door). The structure is a skilful renovation of a historic publishing house, the interiors recall the elements of steel and the warmth of wood. Partially open kitchen. The vegetables and perfumes are grown and used by the chef. The service was very precise, attentive and friendly, despite the fact that there was a graduation party consisting of a large group that evening. Attention to the smallest detail for an experience that will not disappoint you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conosciuto grazie a una promozione online, siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. Un ristorante che presenta una selezione di piatti che denotano uno studio alle spalle, non banali e nella loro particolaritá ed elaborazione sono semplici e piacevoli da gustare (e si fanno gustare bene!!).
Diversi tra antipasti, primi, secondi e dessert.
Prezzi medio alti, ma giustificati da quanto scritto precedentemente.
La location rimane un po' nascosta pur essendo sulla strada il che è penalizzante perchè vivendo nella zona non ci avevo mai fatto caso.
L'interno è semplice, un design essenziale che potrebbe risultare un po' spoglio ma se ti guardi attorno tutto è armonioso. Bella da vedersi la cantinetta dei vini e la sala privata.
Servizi ben tenuti e in linea con lo stile del locale.
La parte esterna non presenta molti posti a sedere, forse poco curata ma è molto carina l'idea delle piante di pomodori che rimandano al nome del locale e all"enorme porta rossa dell'ingresso.
Secondo il mio parere è un ristorante con un potenziale non ancora espresso al 100%.
Ultima parte la vorrei dedicare alla ragazza che ci ha servito tutta la sera: gentile, simpatica e pronta a consigliarci secondo le nostre esigenze senza dover per forza spingerci a consumare per forza un ulteriore piatto oltre quelli giá consumati. In due ore di permanenza ha servito quasi totalmente da sola piú una 30ina di persona passando dal servizio ai tavoli alla pulizia e riordino di bicchieri e posate. Davvero COMPLIMENTI! (Se mai i titolari leggessero questa recensione la ragazza ha origini Toscane).
Torneremo sicuramente per provare qualche secondo.
Known thanks to an online promotion, we were pleasantly impressed. A restaurant that presents a selection of dishes that denote a study behind them, not trivial and in their particularity and elaboration they are simple and pleasant to taste (and they can be tasted well !!).
Different between appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts.
Medium-high prices, but justified by what was written previously.
The location remains a bit hidden despite being on the road which is penalizing because living in the area I had never noticed it.
The interior is simple, an essential design that may be a bit bare but if you look around everything is harmonious. The wine cellar and the private room are beautiful to see.
Services well maintained and in line with the style of the restaurant.
The outside does not have many seats, perhaps not very well maintained but the idea of the tomato plants that refer to the name of the place and to the huge red door of the entrance is very nice.
In my opinion it is a restaurant with potential not yet fully expressed.
The last part I would like to dedicate to the girl who served us all evening: kind, nice and ready to advise us according to our needs without necessarily pushing us to consume an additional dish in addition to those already consumed. In two hours of stay she served almost totally alone plus about 30 in person, passing from table service to cleaning and tidying up glasses and cutlery. Really CONGRATULATIONS! (If ever the owners read this review the girl has Tuscan origins).
We will definitely be back to try a few seconds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una vera scoperta. Atmosfera accogliente e cibo eccezionale. Personale disponibile e molto professionale. Da provare la carbonara al doppio uovo e il risotto alla milanese. E che dire dei dolci una vera delizia. Si va via soddisfatti. Da ritornare per provare altri piatti.
A real find. Cozy atmosphere and exceptional food. Helpful and very professional staff. Try the double egg carbonara and the Milanese risotto. And what about desserts a real treat. We leave satisfied. To return to try other dishes.

Really nice location. Large but not noisy environment. Great for a dinner as a couple or with friends. Really very good cuisine, I tried new combinations that surprised me. I recommend to try it !!
