Stop of line 1 of the Milan underground, the red one. The station is clean and functional, as it was designed and conceived by architects Franco Albini and Franca Helg. Part of the first historical section of the Milan underground network, since 2000 it has enjoyed the (somewhat inconvenient) interchange with the suburban railway lines that run along the Milan railway link. A curiosity: in the initial project of the underground network, in this stop the line 1 and the original line 4 had to meet, and it is for this reason that the platforms, at the level of the trains, are so large compared to the other stops of the same. stub. A considerable transit of people was expected to change lines.

The Pet Shop Boys shot the Intro of the Video for their Song "Paninaro" at this Metro Station in 1986.

I have such bad memories about this place but honestly I hate Milan and their transportation system. It was like going under the sewage..

Quite large station located on Corso Buenos Aires which is a busy central street. The area is well connected to the downtown with the line going through the most central area where is the Duomo square. There's no escalator to the street. Very close is a large train station with regional lines with the same name.
