E' la meta principale per recarsi nel cuore della movida milanese, per andare al cinema, per scoprire i migliori ristoranti o per fare shopping.
Si trova sulla Linea verde che si snoda per 40,4 km, collegando la città da nord-est, con il doppio capolinea a Cologno Nord e Gessate e, a sud con Abbiategrasso e Assago Forum.
È stata costruita negli anni settanta sul prolungamento da Garibaldi FS a Cadorna.
La stazione di Moscova è stata la prima a Milano a essere scavata a foro cieco anziché a cielo aperto.
All' uscita della metropolitana in Largo Foppa, è stata eretta la scultura di bronzo di Salvatore Pisani, in onore dell' ingegnere Piatti, inventore delle perforatrice ad aria compressa, utilizzate per lo scavo del Frejus.
E' dotata di alimentazione elettrica con tensione di 1500 volt in corrente continua.
Presenta due banchine laterali e le porte per la salita e la discesa dei passeggeri dei treni si aprono sul lato destro.
È caratterizzata dal colore verde nella decorazione della stazione e dei treni.
Non è dotata di ascensore.

It is located on the Green Line that winds for 40.4 km, connecting the city from the north-east, with the double terminus at Cologno Nord and Gessate and, to the south, with Abbiategrasso and Assago Forum.
