★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Porta occidentale nella cinta muraria urbana, datata al XIII secolo, fu chiusa nel 1568 a seguito dell'apertura della nuova porta, conosciuta oggi con il nome di porta FAUL, poche decine di metri più a nord. Nel 1990 è stata riaperta l'antica porta di Valle e restaurato questo tratto di mura, in seguito la zona esterna antistante è stata ulteriormente valorizzata con la sistemazione a giardino pubblico.
Western gate in the city wall, dated to the thirteenth century, was closed in 1568 following the opening of the new gate, known today as the FAUL gate, a few tens of meters further north. In 1990 the ancient gate of Valle was reopened and this section of walls restored, later the external area in front was further enhanced with the arrangement of a public garden.
