Consigliata la carne alla brace, in particolare le tipiche "lenzuola" e costate di cavallo ? Non devono mancare come accompagnamento le crocchette di patate e gli antipasti a buffet preparati quotidianamente secondo le antiche tradizioni! Ricordo che vent’anni fa ci andavo già con gran piacere in famiglia e guarda caso tanti anni dopo sono contento di esserci ritornato più volte e di poterlo recensire. Il posto si presenta con aspetto rustico, molto piacevole per serate semplici e con poche pressioni. Le pizze sono buone e sempre ben cotte, l’impasto sembra essere lavorato bene e con i giusti tempi, non mi sono mai sentito appesantito dopo averne mangiata una. Tuttavia, credo che ciò che esalti veramente la qualità del locale sia la carne e le sue tecniche di cottura, ma anche una famosa quanto identificativa vetrina di antipasti al buffet da cui servirsi, chiaramente in self service, mentre si attende l’ordine. C’è un po’ di tutto e per tutti i gusti, dai fritti a preparati come parmigiana o riso al forno (possono cambiare di giorno in giorno), ortaggi arrostiti con e senz’aglio, prodotti tipici, ecc. Mi sono servito diverse volte da loro e l’ho fatto sia consumando sul posto che con asporto. Esperienza piacevole che ripeterò ogni volta in maniera gradita e con l’acquolina in bocca. P.S. I prezzi sono nella norma. Tozzi is a historical activity of Soleto. More an institution than a local, for some Soletans. I remember that twenty years ago I already went there with great pleasure as a family and coincidentally many years later I am happy to have returned several times and to be able to review it. The place has a rustic look, very pleasant for simple evenings and with little pressure. The pizzas are good and always well cooked, the dough seems to be worked well and with the right timing, I have never felt weighed down after eating one. However, I believe that what really enhances the quality of the place is the meat and its cooking techniques, but also a famous and identifying showcase of appetizers at the buffet to be served, clearly in self service, while waiting for the order. There is a bit of everything and for all tastes, from fried to preparations such as parmigiana or baked rice (they can change from day to day), roasted vegetables with and without garlic, typical products, etc. I served myself several times from them and I did it both consuming on site and with take away. Pleasant experience that I will repeat every time in a pleasant and mouth watering manner. P.S. The prices are in the norm.
G	Gi Co on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tipica trattoria salentina dai sapori prettamente caserecci. Ero già stato in questa trattoria anni fa e ieri ci sono ritornato e l'ho trovata alquanto cambiata. Una ripresa, sia esterna che interna, ne hanno modernizzato l'aspetto. Il pezzo centrale, a vetrina, ricco di antipasti ha mantenuto praticamente lo stesso aspetto di allora e anche qualitativamente è rimasto invariato. Il pezzo forte sono sicuramente i crocchè di patate e la carne di cavallo che è cotta divinamente. Non si può dire altrettanto per le pizze che anche se usati ingredienti genuini lo stile è ben lontano dalla pizza napoletana, per impasto, manifattura e gradevolezza visiva. Prezzi leggermente aumentati rispetto a prima ma non esagerati. Typical Salento trattoria with purely homemade flavors. I had already been to this restaurant years ago and yesterday I went back and found it somewhat changed. A revival, both external and internal, has modernized its appearance. The central piece, a showcase, full of appetizers has practically maintained the same appearance as then and also in terms of quality has remained unchanged. The highlight are certainly the potato croquettes and the horse meat which is cooked divinely. The same cannot be said for the pizzas that even if genuine ingredients are used, the style is far from the Neapolitan pizza, in terms of dough, manufacturing and visual appeal. Prices slightly increased compared to before but not exaggerated.

You get asked what you wish to order but they don't wait till you finish your order. The first plates from the self serving buffet wasn't that good as it was last year. When you order vine, water and coke, you have to drink it from the same cup. the waiters don't understand why you order another Glass. You have to remind the waiters for your order. The Pizzeria wasn't that full. My Pizza was good (salame) but the Thuna Pizza from my friend was full of oil from the Thuna Can. The price was ok for the amount of food and beverages. All in all, it was the last time I've visited this pizzeria.
