Nella speranza che presto riapra il tratto interessato dai lavori per ritornare e dare le 5 stelle meritate Fantastic cycle path suitable for families with small children but unfortunately at a certain point there is an interruption that is not signaled among other things that forces you to go back and pass on a busy road and no longer suitable for children ... Peccato per la passerella sul lago ancora chiusa causa instabilità Easy to reach given the proximity of the motorway. Ideal for an afternoon walk. To cover it in full it takes 3 H 30min / 4H. Too bad for the walkway over the lake which is still closed due to instability
R	Ruzza 75 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non tutti vanno a guardare maps prima di recarsi in una pista ciclopedonale, vi costa tanto mettere dei cartelli all'ingresso del parco avvisando che dove diventa più bella è chiusa? Così uno torna direttamente indietro e cambia subito destinazione. Poi complimenti, perché dal parco di Ternate andando verso il ponte di legno (chiuso) i cartelli che più in là avvisano del percorso alternativo sono girati al contrario, cioè li legge solo chi arriva dal ponte di legno (chiuso)...che poi non c'è scritto che è un percorso alternativo perché il ponte è chiuso. La classica disorganizzazione all'italiana. Not everyone goes to look at maps before going to a cycle / pedestrian path, does it cost you so much to put signs at the park entrance warning that where it becomes more beautiful it is closed? So one goes straight back and immediately changes destination. Then congratulations, because from the park of Ternate going towards the wooden bridge (closed) the signs that further warn of the alternative route are turned backwards, that is, only those who arrive from the wooden bridge (closed) read them ... which then it does not say that it is an alternative route because the bridge is closed. The classic Italian disorganization.
m	mau deb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ pista ciclabile piuttosto suggestiva, con diversi passaggi in mezzo alla vegetazione o in riva al lago. quasi interamente asfaltata anche se nel tratto dopo Ternate (se la percorrete in senso orario) è parecchio trascurata. superato quel pezzo però è piuttosto ben messa a ben segnalata (tranne forse in un paio di punti). peccato che il pontile tra Comabbio e Ternate sia ancora chiuso e si sia costretti ad una deviazione, che per un tratto costringe a passare sulla strada principale, cosa non ideale se ci sono bambini con voi. il percorso è adatto anche per sedie a rotelle motorizzate (tipo TriRide) ma in un paio di punti, a causa della ghiaia e delle ripide salite, è necessario l'aiuto di qualcuno. rather suggestive cycle path, with several passages in the middle of the vegetation or by the lake. almost entirely paved even if in the stretch after Ternate (if you follow it clockwise) it is quite neglected. passed that piece, however, is rather well placed and well signposted (except perhaps in a couple of points). pity that the pier between Comabbio and Ternate is still closed and you are forced to make a detour, which for a while forces you to go to the main road, which is not ideal if there are children with you. the route is also suitable for motorized wheelchairs (TriRide type) but in a couple of places, due to the gravel and steep climbs, someone's help is needed.
R	Roberta Colombo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho parcheggiato a Comabbio e ho percorso la pista ciclopedonale, convinta fosse molto più panoramica, in realtà il lago nemmeno si vede per diversi chilometri. Purtroppo arrivata già oltre la metà ho trovato il percorso interrotto e ho dovuto camminare con macchine che mi sfrecciavano accanto e dovendo aprire il navigatore per capire come proseguire... Peccato. Probabilmente è il punto più bello (ho letto che c'è una passerella lungo lago, ma non so da quando e per quanto tempo sia chiusa). I parked in Comabbio and walked the cycle / pedestrian path, convinced it was much more panoramic, in reality the lake is not even visible for several kilometers. Unfortunately, when I reached the halfway point, I found the route interrupted and I had to walk with cars that whizzed past me and having to open the navigator to understand how to continue ... Too bad. It is probably the most beautiful point (I have read that there is a boardwalk along the lake, but I don't know when and for how long it is closed).
B	Bálint Czúcz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice for walking / biking / running. But the best starting point of a tour is not here (at km 0), but ~1.5 km to the north where you can leave your car.
M	Mittelton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It might be alright for walking but not for cycling. Nicest parts though are between Comabbio and Ternate. Some other parts are either not taken care of at all, especially this is obvious around Vergiate, and the path is generally outlined to contour the many properties around the lake with plenty of strong climbing and descending up to 10%. Asphalt often obviously abandoned and full of potholes, mud and stones. Definitely not a pleasant ride.
