K	Klaus M. Bauer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alte Kirche in wild-romantischer Umgebung. Schon die Anreise über schmale Straßen ist ein kleines Abenteuer. Touristen trifft man glücklicherweise kaum. Leider war die Kirche bei meinem Besuch nicht geöffnet. Trotzdem sehenswert. Old church in wild-romantic surroundings. Even the journey over narrow streets is a little adventure. A	Adriana Pisanzio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima pieve in pietra serena dei monti circostanti, edificata attorno al XII sec. e restaurata recentemente La facciata e le mura perimetrali presentano numerose formelle in pietra con simbolismi particolari costruite da sapienti maestri comacini dei quali abbiamo testimonianza nelle teste antropomorfe apposte sopra l'entrata ed in altre posizioni. All'interno sono stati trovati bellissimi affreschi ora in restauro, e sotto l'altare si accede ad una cripta colonnata attraverso una scaletta in pietra. Nella pieve in occasione del solstizio estivo si tiene un evento guidato da esperti durate il quale si assiste al fenomeno del passaggio del raggio di sole attraverso la croce posta sopra la porta di entrata che va a illuminare la cripta, simbolo di rinascita, della vittoria della luce sulle tenebre, simbolo di resurrezione dalla morte. Ho partecipato a questo evento i giorno 23 giugno ed è stato molto suggestivo, in più, il circolo di Castelvecchio aveva allestito un momento ricreativo nel piazzale antistante la pieve, offrendo a tutti noi una gustosa merenda con prodotti locali, come i famosi fagioli di Sorana accompagnati da altre prelibatezze.
