★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La parrocchia compare già, intitolata solo a san Vito, nell'estimo del Vescovado di Lucca dell'anno 1260, come rettoria dipendente dalla pieve di Pescia. Nel Seicento risulta invece incorporata nel territorio di giurisdizione della parrocchia di S. Michele. Nel 1785 il vescovo Vincenti la eresse a parrocchia autonoma e oggi risulta congregata a quella di S. Michele di Pescia. Da qui si può ammirare il panorama sulla piana di Pescia.
The parish already appears, entitled only to St. Vito, in the este of the Vescovado di Lucca of the year 1260, as a rectory dependent on the parish church of Pescia. In the seventeenth century it was instead incorporated into the territory of jurisdiction of the parish of St. Michael. In 1785 the bishop Vincenti erected it as an independent parish and today is congregated to that of S. Michele di Pescia. From here you can admire the view on the Pescia plain.
