★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Without any doubt the best Italian meal I've ever had. Silvano and his staff make the whole experience perfect. The food is simple local dishes, but made exquisitely with ingredients from the area. 12 courses of mouth wateringly delicious dishes that really can't be faulted. The restaurant is in an old castle and the decor is like the food, simple yet perfect. This is a meal and a place I will remember for the rest of my life. To top it off, we were given personalised menus with our names and date of the visit. If there is a restaurant that deserves a Michelin star this is it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked away in a medieval village this memorable gem is a must-do! Make reservations in advance and follow the directions on their website. After the church, park along the city walls, walk through the gate up the hill and it will be on your left.
You descend into an old frantoio that now seats 25 on three-legged stools. Silvano will come around and with the gusto of a proud papa, explain each dish. The ingredients, the history, how it was prepared.
The atmosphere is evocative and the tables accomodate couples or large groups. Both would be equally fun. This is a great place to bring friends or family.
Each of the 12 dishes seemed better than the last. The portions are large enough to satisfy but not overly so. This is more than dinner, it is an experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasting and enjoying the real roots of food from the Marche. Silvano is a well prepared and sympathetic host. The location is wonderful ... it's like going back 300 years ago. This is a Must Do if you are in the surroundings. The price is absolutely reasonable. An experience to remember.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ everything about this place makes it stand out as exceptional. The amazing setting in a tiny medieval borgo, the wonderful flavours of the traditional mountain food, brought to life by Stefano's impassioned descriptions of the recipes and their provenance. On our last visit we forgot to warn them that we were 3 vegetarians and a vegan, they took it totally in their stride.
Only cautionary note, not suitable for those with mobility issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really amazing place. You have to take a small walk up the hill which looks like approaching a medieval village. The atmosphere was really authentic, staff were so communicative and happy to have us here. We had 11 courses, each very authentic. We had great chat with the owners and their staff. Price was really low, considering what we got for it. You have to visit if you are in the area. I assume you have to make a booking. Thanks!
