★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice base for hiking in the summer (I have not visited in winter). Just keep in mind that the restaurants and the cable car are shut, they only open in late June. So bring your own food if hiking before that as there is nothing open up there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent skiing for families. For kids its a perfect place to learn skiing. The base is level is surrounded by a baby piste as well as successively more elaborate pistes. As the ski school and the regular pistes all come together at a similar spot, parents can enjoy quite some skiing and look up their kids from time to time. The 80km slopes are generally fine but if not with small kids, after a day or three the area has given its best.
