Alla base si alternano figure di arpie con sfingi alate, allegoria dell'eterna lotta tra la vita e la morte. Nel capitello sono raffigurati i quattro Evangelisti, rappresentati secondo la simbologia tradizionale, tre figure dei quali acefale. Probabilmente in origine era infissa una croce in cima.
Built in 1607 on commission from the Protonobilissimo family, princes of the Wall. At the base alternate figures of harpies with winged sphinxes, an allegory of the eternal struggle between life and death. In the capital the four Evangelists are represented, represented according to the traditional symbolism, three figures of which headless. It was probably originally a cross on top.
