★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was recommended by some friends but wasn't very impressed.
We came after 5pm and spent 15€ each for a bed (45€ in 3) and they told us we would have to leave at 6h45pm.
The sunbeds were in front of the bar and right in the middle of where people would constantly walk by. Nothing against that considering the limited space, but if you are looking for a place to relax, I didn't get that vibe.
We enjoyed the cocktails at the bar, it got a bit quieter at 7pm and it was pleasant to watch the sunset.
There's plenty of beaches by the coast, so I would choose a different place to sunbathe, good for a drink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely wines, great snacks and very reasonably priced given the location. There is a lift or walkway down to the beach (€1 for the lift each way) and you have amazing views whilst you relax. I thought that we would be expected to leave as soon as we had finished our drinks, however we were able to stay and rest as we wanted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peter’s Beach club area was amazing! It is situated at the right hand side of the port and is very accessible. I was in Sorrento for 5 days and we went to Peter’s Beach for 3 of them. We paid €20 each for the use of a sun lounger on the rocks and it was worth every penny having somewhere to set our stuff and chill out and read a book. The staff were very friendly and attentive and assisted us with anything we needed. On one of the days we had lunch at the restaurant part of Peter’s beach and we got the quinoa and vegetable salad bowls and they were delicious. Peters beach was very well priced and there was a great atmosphere in the area.
It is €16 for a deck chair and €6 for use of an umbrella.
You can access the beach through the lift down to the port or you can walk down the pathway, either way is very accessible.
The opening hours when we were there where 9am-7pm.

More than half of the beds are empty but they are all reserved, seems months before, so nobody can really use them even though the place is really nothing special, but alternatives are almost non existing. Extremely annoying. There are barely any beaches in Sorrento, none of them really nice to relax, so forget beach holidays here. Very capitalistic approach at Peters’s beach: beds are reserved and paid so no customer service is needed, doesn’t matter if half is empty and people gather outside and would be eager to pay the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't go in, as really expensive (€5 just for an umbrella). Maybe presents good value for money if you want to stay on the beach the entire day but we only wanted an hour or so. Unfortunately it's not very easy to get to the water if you don't use a private beach and the tiny public one is reserved for local residents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not really impressed. Italy has some amazing beaches, this one isn't one of them. The price for a bed and umbrella has gone up. It's €24 euros for a spot. The service staff wasn't friendly. They treated us as another number. Since this beach is one of the closest to the train station they know that they can just get another tourist.
