Beautiful cathedral in the historic center of Pescina, where the remains of the patron saint, San Berardo, are kept. Starting point for a visit to the old village, with ruins of the Castle, museum and tomb of Silone, home of Mazarin.

Only one noteworthy work of art: a wooden Madonna that seems to date back to the 1300s but which they say dates back to the 11th century. Some of the others are even ugly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È la cattedrale della città di Pescina (Aq). Edificata nel xvi secolo e consacrata ufficialmente da papa Paolo v Borghese. Fu gravemente danneggiata dal terremoto del 1915 e durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Al suo interno le reliquie di San Bernardo dei Marsi.
It is the cathedral of the city of Pescina (Aq). Built in the sixteenth century and officially consecrated by Pope Paul v Borghese. It was badly damaged by the 1915 earthquake and during the Second World War. Inside there are the relics of San Bernardo dei Marsi.
